Scary Pockets is a cover band that usually collaborates with guest singers, on this occasion the wonderful Elise Trouw, who has her own track record of creating very well accomplished covers on her own.

Although Dreams by the band Fleetwood Mac is a song that all cover artists have in their repertoire, this one is one of the best for my taste. As a curious fact, the owner of Patreon is part of the group, in addition to the musical project he has with his wife, called Pomplamoose.

Scary Pockets es una banda de covers que suele colaborar con cantantes invitados, en esta ocasión la maravillosa Elise Trouw, quien tiene su propio historial creando covers muy bien logrados por su cuenta.

Si bien Dreams de la banda Fleetwood Mac es un tema que todos los artistas de covers tiene en su repertorio, este es de lo mejores para mi gusto. Como dato curioso el dueño de Patreon es parte del grupo, además del proyecto musical que tiene con su esposa, llamado Pomplamoose.

There was a time, coinciding with the release of the album 'Covers', which contains this Kate Bush track, that I was a real Placebo fan, their discography from those years is etched in my memory.

Then I became interested in other genres and lost track of them a bit, but two or three of their albums are among the ones I listen to the most. This song has become popular again thanks to the series 'Stranger Things' and by chance I found this live version of the cover that the band did more than 10 years ago, enjoy it.

Hubo una época, que coincide con la publicación del disco 'Covers', en que viene este tema original de Kate Bush, que era un verdadero fanático de Placebo, su discografía de esos años está grabada en mi memoria.

Luego me interesé en otros géneros y le perdí un poco la pista, pero dos o tres de sus discos están entre los que más escucho. Esta canción se ha vuelto popular de nuevo gracias a la serie 'Stranger Things' y por casualidad me he encontrado esta versión en vivo del cover que hizo la banda hace más de 10 años,que lo disfruten.

I've been a fan of Lenny Kravtiz since his second album, and I've always admired his approach to analog, and his mix of influences from soul, goodspell, funk, and even hip-hop with classic rock and all its richness, which generates a vast and varied mix of sounds that he has made his own.

This song is a cover, like all the ones I present this time, and has the particularity that in the video he appears playing all the instruments, something that may surprise some, but it is very common for him, since it is not strange that he plays all the instruments in the recordings of his albums.

Soy un seguidor de Lenny Kravtiz desde su segundo disco, y siempre he admirado su enfoque hacia lo análogo, y su mezcla de influencias del soul, goodspell, funk, e incluso hip-hop con el rock clásico y toda su riqueza, lo que genera una mezcla rica y variada de sonidos que le ha hecho suyos.

Este tema es un cover, como todos los que les presento en esta ocasión, y tiene la particularidad de que el aparece tocando todos los instrumentos, algo que pueda sorprender a algunos, pero que es muy común para él, ya que no es extraño que toque todos los instrumentos en las grabaciones de sus discos.

The Big Push is a band from Brighton, England, formed by three musicians who met on the beach, and ended up living together and forming the band. They have recently gained more notoriety due to the success one of their members, Ren Gill, is having in his solo career.

They generally make covers, giving them a new style, or mashups in which they mix classic rock songs, reggae, and other influences such as Manu Chao, Fatboy Slim and a long and very interesting etcetera. This cover of a Manu Chao song is proof of this.

The Big Push es una banda de Brighton, Inglaterra, formada por tres músicos que se conocieron en la playa, y acabaron viviendo juntos y formando la banda. Recientemente han cobrado más notoriedad por el éxito que está teniendo uno de sus integrantes, Ren Gill, en su carrera como solita.

Por lo general hacen covers, imprimiéndoles un nuevo estilo, o mashups en que mezclan temas clásicos del rock, el reggae, y otras influencias como Manu Chao, Fatboy Slim y un largo y muy interesante etcétera. Este cover de un tema de Manu Chao es muestra de ello.
