πŸŽƒ Happy Halloween! πŸŽƒ Insane Decorations

Halloween is here, and it is apparent that my city decided to go all out this year! Post-COVID, we recognize that we have a lot of catching up to do, and we did so by unveiling our traditional Tower O' Pumpkins! πŸŽƒ Typically these jack-o'-lanterns are carved by school children, then put up for the entire city to observe.

This house was one of my personal favorites. The Nightmare Before Christmas is considered a Halloween and Christmas classic, so many people decorate their houses with the characters during both holidays! πŸ˜„

Here we can see Oogie Boogie, along with his trio of minions: Lock, Shock, and Barrel!

You may recognize Dr. Finkelstein, as well as some other quirky characters from a different film πŸ€”...

On the other side, the decorations continued, and featured some characters from Beetlejuice as well!

Here we see Jack Skellington, Sally, as well as the Mayor of Halloweentown. Notice that his white/anxious side is showing--what could be the matter?! 😱

And of course, here is Adam and Barbara from Beetlejuice! The two of them seem to be in good spirits!

I thought this was an interesting bit as well. Off to the side of the house appeared to be a seance of skeletons, being carried around in a circle by the wind.. Definitely some chilling vibes there..

We managed to snap some of the more impressive houses during the night. These were houses that either had incredible light effects, or had incredible figures on display. Take this next house, for example. Not only did it feature life-size sculptures of a werewolf, monster, and clown, but the lighting was amazing!

This house had set up a little maze for the younger children, along with tons of inflatable decorations! That is something I can always appreciate...

I loved this house, not only for its creepy headless cat off to the left...

...but also because this house seemed to have a life-size sculpture of Freddy, from the video game Five Nights At Freddy's! 😍😍

This house was incredible! The entire front porch of the house was also set up as a maze, with a huge menacing mouth for the entrance!

This house was lovely, not only for its enchanting purple glow, but also due to the towering inflatable ghost πŸ‘»
