Street Art Of Ontario (Part 7)

It's been awhile! Over the past few weeks, my city has been anticipating its annual event of Concrete Canvas Fest! πŸŽ‰ This is an event where local artists replace the older murals with a fresh set of new people, animals, and styles!

I have been walking around, capturing any fresh paint that I can find. Here are some of the pieces that I have captured thus far! I have attempted to give credit wherever I can, so if you enjoy the artwork, please show the artists some love! πŸ₯°

This is a favorite of mine. It was done by national artist, Alexander Bacon. He is an artist who often incorporates endangered species into his pieces. I personally like to believe butterflies are loved ones' way of telling us they have safely made it to the Beyond. It seems this one is saying hello!

This mural involved the talents of two artists! The raven has been overlooking the bar scene of Hamilton for a few years now.. However, I have never captured a photo of it during the daytime!

(Kevin Moore)
I cannot find a social media for this artist; however, his name is Kevin Moore. Notice anyone familiar?

It's Falkor, from the Neverending Story!

This mural was done by artist, Robyn Lightwalker. This is another artist who involves animals in their artwork, most commonly the North American raccoon.

This artist is well-known around the area. I find his style to be sharp and eye-catching! He himself even described this mural as "living and active, shaper than a double-edged sword."

For the last two pieces, I was unable to find the names of the artists... However, this mural can be found along the side of local restaurant building, The Gown And Gavel.

This one is also unidentified, but I discovered it walking down one of the alleys!
