The Rat King's Palace

The warm weather has been approaching, the snow is melting, and the spirit of exploration is upon us! Recently we went to explore an abandoned house that has remained dilapidated for a number of years. Once a family abode, it has now become a teenage hideaway, full of grammatical graffiti. (Seriously, I think that was the most concerning part of this explore: the fact that not one artist could spell lol)

It seemed that this house was a hot spot during the COVID pandemic; a lot of the writing on the walls was related to the event.

Oh, huh... I guess there's not a lot to see here! 😅

We found these stencils etched along the walls. We assumed they were meant to be rats (in relation to the notorious Rat King), but given the black-and-white outline, it looks more like an opossum than a rat!

Possum Queen has been dethroned. Ah, perhaps a battle of the mammals took place!
