Good question. I also wonder whether the Ukrainians are plaased with the USA's interest in their country. I hope they do know why the USA is by side Zelenskiy.

Just said him because he is in power now. Name is not important, but the USA's interests.

Actually I am not so sure they are all that keen about Ukraine.
You know they expected Ukraine to fall within day, right?
When it did not they had to take sides - but they clearly don't want Ukraine to score a resounding victory.
