I suspect it won't stay this way for very long as there is lots of construction going on in the neighborhood. Given current tendencies buildings like this are typically converted into residential apartments, offices or spaces for bars, restaurants or the like.

It would be destroyed and rebuilt with a new structure in a short time in my country.

Here they tend to gut it and rebuild, but not destroy buildings fully.
