31 January 2021 - Walk in the woods in anticipation of a snowstorm

The day was a little chilly but calm. With a snow storm forecast for the next day - and yes, it did come - yours truly decided to take a walk in the woods just West of the La Salette Shrine.

It was cold, a typical Winter day, as can be seen in the picture above.

Waning sun... the night still comes early.

In better weather, this platform makes lake accessible to wheelchair-bound people. The park is really nice in this regard - and I am sure residents of several homes for the elderly are very happy about that. You see them regularly in that park. Even on that cold day, I ran into one - and decided to jump off the trail for that old lady, in order to protect her from coming into proximity with me due to COVID concerns. I ended up cutting myself a bit on more thorns in the bushes - but what else is new?
