Luna, the miracle dog who survived being lost at sea and feeding on rodents

Luna, a German Shepherd pictured above, went overboard off the coast of California, US on 10 February 2016. After an initial search that lasted several days she was presumed lost at sea. However, in reality she had swum to the island of St Clemente covering at least a mile (1.6 km) of water. She was discovered by US Navy sailors from a local naval base 5 weeks later sitting by the side of a road and wagging her tail.
She was examined by a veterinarian and found to be in perfect health but slightly malnourished. Presumably, she had survived by eating mice and other rodents.
She was then reunited with her human family who were obviously delighted to have her back.
Luna is one awesome dog!

.Woof!!!

Awesome dog!
She sure is!
Woof!!!
What amazed me the most was that she didn't even seem to be traumatized much by any of that.
What a strange story. I bet the owner family must be very happy because it is kind of miracle.
It sure was a miracle.
