Special escort required for the unvaccinated at major box stores in Quebec, Canada

The following came across my desk a couple of hours ago. Apparently, effective yesterday or some day prior (that part is unclear) box stores in the Canadian province of Quebec that have the floor area in excess of 1500 square meters (the would be 50m by 30m or roughly 160ft by 100ft or more) would have to have an employee accompany all shoppers who have chosen not to take an experimental COVID-19 vaccine. Reason? Those uncouth individuals, the spreaders of the plague are not allowed to shop for anything other than food and medicine. Because, I guess, disaster will ensue should they buy a pack of undergarments or a computer tablet.
I was very reluctant to believe it but seeing the tweet, with comments underneath confirming its veracity, with none disputing the veracity of its content and with an embedded video of a CBC (Canadian state media corporation) broadcaster announcing this new measure I, sadly, have to say that this is most likely real. Not that I did not have a good laugh at that - but frankly I'd rather find some other excuse for a laugh. This clown show is funny but it is also tragic. And the joke is on us all.

It's so pathetic that a proposed civilized country will be acting as if they're in the primitive age. The question I'll like to ask is, are we moving forward or backwards or are we operating under the law of gravitational force that's pulling is back to our past as well as the primitive age. I think Canada needs a new government or leaders with good brain. If this is happening in Nigeria or other parts of Africa I would've kept my peace, by in Canada no. Leadership is actually thinking outside the box, but not this far. Thanks for sharing this amusing post, you've made my day. Lol.
Socially, I do think the West has been regressing over the last few decades. I would fully agree with you on that.
As for your Africa vs Canada comparison - I'd say humans are fundamentally the same everywhere, and when the culture is corrupted, you end up with corrupt players in power. That's how I view it - regardless of the continent, climate, etc.

What is it going to take for Canadians to rise up? I see the truckers are getting involved now but it is unfortunate that this will result in a lot of suffering for a lot of people that aren't even responsible. I wonder if the panic purchasing has begun yet.
