FIVE OLD SHOTS IN THE MORNING SUN
A couple of days ago, while exploring old, forgotten folders in search of miscellaneous photographs for the @LMAC Image Library, I came across some shots from the 6th December 2009 that nicely encapsulated the winter atmosphere along the coast.
That distant December day was partially sunny, the sky was covered with thin, shifting layers of clouds ...
... and I was rambling along the sea shore with a friend that went to live in Germany soon after these photographs were taken, and slowly disappeared from my everyday life, and with time, from the everyday memory as well. That could be the proof that I really live in the present, in the vanishing moment ... you know, that Carpe diem stuff. :D Hm ... maybe ...
... anyway ... it was a great day for silhouettes, and I caught quite a few with the camera. Here you can see some nicely assembled buoyant stuff used to signal the presence of the place for small boats, a place to tie and anchor the boat, and also to keep the ropes afloat.
This is a relatively long, narrow inlet, protected from the big waves that are regularly hitting the surroundings during the autumn and winter.
I caught a bit of sparkle on that day as well ... and that's all :)
As always in these posts on HIVE, the photographs are my work ... and as always on Saturday when memories are involved, this is a post for the @olga.maslievich's Saturday Memories initiative.
I love the second snap. Do you shoot in raw or jpeg BTW?
