NINE PLANTS IN THE EVENING LIGHT

These are the flowers of the Common golden thistle (Scolymus hispanicus).

Here you can see the lovely silhouette of some unidentified plant and the setting sun in the background.

In this photograph, you can take a look at the white, fluffy seeds on the flowerhead of another plant that I wasn't able to identify. The thing looks a bit like a fairy-tale creature with a cute haircut.

This is the Asperula aristata. A gracile herbaceous plant with small flowers that stood in stark contrast with the pretty tall, fibrous, and prevalently dried-out vegetation around it.

Here you can see another silhouette. This one is more intricate. Can't tell you the name of the plant.

This is a twig of the pine tree.

Here you can see another plant in bloom. The Prospero autumnale. The photograph was taken on the 29th of September 2008. Technically in autumn, but the spirit of the summer was still strong in the air.

This is a detail of some plant that I wasn't able to identify, mainly because this photograph while being aesthetically fairly pleasing, doesn't provide enough information for successful identification.

This is the end. The last plant in the post, and the third silhouette. I don't know what plant is this. It's pretty dry though, that's for sure.

The plants in this post were photographed on various occasions during the summer of 2008, always in the evening or late in the afternoon when the sunlight gives a nice yellow tinge to the overall atmosphere. Some of them were covered with flowers and stood out among the prevalently dry vegetation.

AND THAT'S IT. AS ALWAYS IN THESE POSTS ON HIVE, THE PHOTOGRAPHS ARE MY WORK - THE END.

I like to take pictures of plants in the evening when the sky is golden and gives off a nice breeze. I like the pine tree very much.

Does dry weather greatly affect plants in the fields? Or is it resistant to such conditions?
