RAINY DAY IN SVETVINCHENAT
When this first, opening shot was taken, I was driving through the main road of the small town. The arrow down on the wet asphalt gave a lot to the simple POV composition by accentuating the perspective.
I was slowly approaching the main square when this photograph was taken.
Here you can see some of the houses there around the square and in the following photograph ...
... you can take a look at roses on the balcony of one of the houses closer to my car.
One of the roads to the square was closed to traffic, as you can see in this picture. I took one more photograph while being parked there ...
... and in that photograph shown here, you can see the nearby restaurant.
When I took the narrow street that wasn't closed, that street led me to this fairly photogenic neighborhood.
With the short and narrow road mentioned before, I arrived at the main square from another direction and so I was able to photograph the stuff there from another angle. One of the houses in this photograph is the one that has roses on the balcony.
On the way out of Svetvinchenat, I noticed these lovely sheep by the side of the road.
This was the last shot, so the post ends here. Soon I put the camera back into the bag and drove straight back home.
The sky was darkened by clouds while I was driving towards Svetvinchenat, the small old town situated about forty kilometers from where I live, and it started to rain when I arrived there. Since my camera doesn't have good protection from the water, all the photographs in this post were taken from the safety of the car. That was a bit limiting when it comes to the angle and composition of the shots, but it allowed me to create this post about a rainy atmosphere, so I'm pretty satisfied with that little trip. Hope you'll enjoy it too. Have a good viewing.

The images you have taken in a cloudy and rainy weather looks quite stunning. The low light just adds a real reflection of the weather, I think the darkness in the car had also played a part in capturing cool shots.
I had seen similar streets and some architecture in Turkiye as I had observed quite a nice rainfall everyday there.

Yes, the scenery usually doesn't look very attractive in this weather. The colors are muted, and the light is dull, so one must find interesting shapes, angles, and compositions to make things look good in photographs. Every circumstance is a different challenge if you wanna convey the atmosphere and your vision of the place.
