RAT IN THE BOTTLE

This was planned to be the artwork for a grunge album ... first one for a bunch of friends of mine, from the city of Pula, the nearest city to my hometown.

They had a strange name ... KRVI I KISIKA ... which means BLOOD AND OXYGEN, but in the sense of that old, famous thought in circulation since the Roman times - panem et circenses, bread and circuses ... give us, or give them more blood and some oxygen, I guess, something like that.

This was also part of that project. I don't remember what was the name of the album supposed to be.

There was no album at the end, but I found this old drawings and photoshop collages on the external drive.

I don't have phase to phase photo - documentation of the process, but a few drawings were still there, undeleted.
I drew this with the pencil, then I cut out the drawing and stick it to another paper. Then I put the lamp behind and photographed the thing to use in Photoshop. The toad on the first picture was also created that way.

Here is the tree that ended up merged with the real, I mean, photographed tree.

It looked like this when the operation was complete.

This is a completely new edit :D I did this some minutes ago, I had some fun playing with variations of this old stuff in Photoshop.

And that's it, a little artsy walk down the memory lane, this was found in an old folder from the year 2005.
