SIX OLD MACROS FROM MORE THAN A DECADE AGO
In this opening photograph, you can see the colorful caterpillar of the Papilio machaon swallowtail.
This is the Calliptamus italicus grasshopper.
Here you can see the same grasshopper photographed from a different angle. And in a slightly different light.
In this photograph, the very small, young nymph of the Carpocoris purpureipennis bug is coming out of its old exoskeleton. This is is an inevitable part of growing up.
Here you can see an adult of the same species that has just gone through the same process.
The post is ending here, with the same caterpillar that started it. The caterpillar is the same, but the light and the angle from which is coming, are slightly different.
I decided to publish a few more insects from 2007 before driving northwards in search of some new ones.
AND THAT'S IT. AS ALWAYS IN THESE POSTS ON HIVE, THE PHOTOGRAPHS ARE MY WORK.

Thank you. 🙂I just came home after the morning in the woods. It was a great day with plenty of interesting macro encounters.
Wooohoooo! Great macro photos incomiiiiiing! 😃
Wow..as usual, the photos you share are beautiful my friend. Whatever object you photograph, the result must be very good. I like all your photography works, cool 👍
As we can see, @borjan has been a great photographer for (at least) 2 decades :) Impressive skills.
Thanks. 🙂 Nice to hear a compliment. Before buying the first digital camera, I read a lot about analog photography without practicing it (besides a bit of experimentation in the high school's poorly equipped laboratory) so when the digital era arrived, and Photoshop could be used as a darkroom, I was kinda ready. 😀
...and we are ready to enjoy and admire your impressive photography skills ;) Have a great weekend my friend! Greetings to my beloved Croatia.
Thanks. 🙂 Great weekend to you too. Wherever you are - I mean, I see that you travel a lot so ... 😊Have a great weekend.
