Inbetween the rain

I am very grateful for the few days of less grey and cloudy weather of last week, and I did throw the drone into the air those days as well! But these images are still from a few weeks earlier, when the fall colors were still present. The series show that even when the weather isn't as nice, it can still pay to get your drone out and fly a bit! That is to say, if there's no rain or too much wind of course :-D
The images are from a little further down the canal here, next to a forest.
This first picture has been shot using the panorama mode on the Air2s. I'm not always fond of the result of this mode, and normally the double canal would freak me out. But for some weird reason, in this case, it does look cool. For me, it's mostly because the center of attention is at the forest and the cloudscape.

In this picture, taken above a small piece of forest on the other side (not visible on the top photo), I love the different clusters of trees, and the little trail that wanders inbetween them.
