Crypto Exchange FTX $2Billion Venture Funds
When I was first introduced to this blockchain, hive.blog, I carried with me the FOMO mentality which keeps hitting me now and then but wait it all started to change gradually.
I don't want to be all motivational not just yet because I'm still finding my balance, I realised later that where I was just starting is the perfect place.
At midnight before I fell fast asleep, I stumbled on a story on Forbes, then all my FOMO mentality vanished not entirely though.
FTX, a cryptocurrency exchange platform launched a $2 billion venture fund called FTX ventures that would focus on advancing blockchain and web3 technology also investing in social, gaming, fintech, software and healthcare.
FTX ventures would be head by Amy Wu who worked in Lightspeed Ventures Partners as she led crypto and gaming investments.
Web3 technology is fast growing and being able to tap into it has been of utmost benefit, so the launch of FTX Ventures sent a calm to the mind that the best is yet to come as there's still a stronghold taking place.
We in hive ecosystem have been here creating awareness by whatever means each person put and it has been productive.
To see others welcome it with huge chunk of money to channel into crypto and web4 even web3 gaming says alot is already taking place outside our horizon, so definitely no need to fell the FOMO - Fear Of Missing Out.
FTX Ventures' core mission is to advance global blockchain and web3 adoption, with a broad investment mandate across social, gaming, fintech, software, and health care. The fund will invest in multi-satge companies and projects, providing flexible funding and strategic support from FTX and its network of global partners, Amy Wu states.
This is a big one for companies that need funding to get along in the advancing technology.
Founder and CEO of FTX, Sam Bankman-Fried founded FTX in November 2017 after he founded Alameda Research, a quantitative cryptocurrency trading firm in October 2017. Bankman-Fried is the richest 29 year old with $26.5 billion as FTX is valued at $25 billion.
I'm November 2021, FTX and Lightspeed teamed up with Solana Ventures to launch a $100 million web3 gaming co-investment fund.

It's just amazing what cryptocurrency, now web3 would do in the lives of all who embrace it, I'm just glad that I'm in now and sooner the world would come to embrace the leading technology.

I agree with you completely there is so much opportunity here on Hive that it feels like every time I turn around another opportunity to make more crypto pos up.
That's just correct, just endless opportunities for anyone to grab on.
