Why I Choose To Stand On The Shoulders Of Giant
There's no denial whatsoever that I prefer being on my own than with other people, that I'm certain of myself.
Great lessons have been learnt while being alone, I've been able to gain tremendous knowledge.
Alone you can go fast but together you can go far.
What remains clear that great heights can't be reached alone that's why it's paramount along the way to success we team up with like minds to achieve our highest goals.
Who are these giants?
There are men and women who have attained that which seem impossible to attain from where we stand.
People who have been able to reach their goals, leave out clues, in books, speeches in audio tapes but finally it's only the willing that are able to get them.
Giants may be out teachers because they impact knowledge, that would be the beginning of knowing giants.
There are shortcuts not just shortcuts but rather mistakes that would be made on the way up but picture having a paragon, a mentor that can direct your steps in the right direction and sure that giant needs to be the right giant.
I actually never thought about this until now. Can you just imagine being who you not at your best?
Some years back, 2018 precisely, I met Jackson Google a great guy.
He's name is not google, there was a seminar, I have no idea what to call it right now.
Haniel, the SUG VP organized a seminar a Jackson was the speaker, damn he blew my mind.
I was truly lobotomized and that was because, he knew Robert Kiyosaki, Norman Vincent Pearle, Napoleon Hill, Michael Schwab, all these guys that intrigues me so yes I was lobotomized.
He shared his phone number saying if anyone needs help at any point in time to give him a call.
I wrote a post about my first time, so back to Jackson.
I called him one day when I actually need someone and he was the first person that jumped on my mind.
He was enthusiastic to talk to me and without wasting time, he invited me over to the office which got me startle immediately, I never expected such gesture.
As a yes man, I agreed.
I was in front of Jackson in an hour time, I even became more drawn to him because he left me speechless, he is an intelligent man.
He was thinking what I was about thinking and what I held in my mind before I thought of saying it.
Yes, that was a giant.
So at every point in time we have to stand on the shoulders of giants because we don't have to know where the road 2ould lead.
I read somewhere, if you are asked to take a job even if you not experienced, agree to it then learn your way, and if doesn't do you right?
Then quit.
We actually don't have to outrightly say no.
One of my childhood dream came true because of him, I was a mechanic in 2018.
Standing on the shoulders of giants puts us in positions that are beneficial to us even without asking.
Giants tend to be a propelling force, we strive to be better when in tuned with those that are aligned with us.
I have my own experience and need more, so I can act upon it.
There's no time to miss chances so we have to keep our eyes open for giants, the right giants so that we don't get to the top only to discover that you learned on the wrong wall.
According to want in life, the mentors would be choose, I know I what I want for myself so it is with everyone else and we need to follow through with it.
We'd only descover at the end that we are years ahead of our peers, it's better to go far with the right and go fast alone.
The end truly justifies the means, it might be a slow pace which is better to build a solid foundation for a perfect finishing that would weather any storm.
Being ahead and staying ahead would be easy because the blueprint is already at hand.
