Early this morning, I went to the public market in Santa Maria, Bulacan. This place is one of the spots where vegetables and various other goods are sold in bulk, making it a great place to shop for fresh produce at affordable prices.
I really enjoy shopping here because not only are the vegetables fresh, but they are also much cheaper compared to what you might find elsewhere. It's a great way to save money while making sure my family has fresh ingredients for our meals. 🥬🥕🍅
There's just one little challenge, though! Since the market is quite far from our subdivision, I need to buy enough supplies to last for several days so I won't have to keep coming back. HAHAHA! 😂
But honestly, the savings and freshness make the trip worthwhile. Sometimes, we have to wake up early and travel a little farther to get the best deals for our family.

We do our grocery shopping depending on my wife’s mood, hehehe. Sometimes she likes to shop at a vegetable store not too far from our house. Other times, I take her to a traditional market, where she buys vegetables, side dishes, and other essentials to last for a few days. We usually go shopping in the late afternoon.
If you really want to save money, it’s better to buy vegetables directly from the source whenever possible. Buying from commercial markets usually means paying a much higher price because of the added markups. 💪

Haha! Waking up early and traveling a little farther is definitely worth it when you can get fresh vegetables at better prices! 😁🥬 I enjoy visiting our traditional wet markets too.
