Back from Vacation.

I know it has been a long time since I posted with this account. I apologize for that. I have been on the road for the past week and that has made it a little difficult to keep up with all of the sports stuff that has been going on.

Even though I have been off, the Lady Lasers down in Ohio have been doing their best to tear things up on the softball fields. Unfortunately, the weather has not been cooperating with them very much. Just a little over a week ago they were playing a tournament down outside of Columbus, OH and the rain and storms ended up cancelling a good portion of the tournament.

Despite that, the team went 3-0-1 on the weekend. It was a good showing for them. They had some pretty amazing plays. Of course you know I am mainly concerned about how well my niece did. Lucky for me, even though I wasn't able to watch all of the games, she posts her stats on Twitter for prospective University coaches to see.

She had an impressive bating average of .571. That's just amazing. Professional players would kill to have an average like that. Plus, if you think that is impressive, make sure you come back and read my post tomorrow. It will blow your socks off!

The Lady Lasers had a weekend off this past weekend, but they are back in action later this week as they head down to Virginia for their last tournament of the summer. I'll be sending a lot of well wishes their way as they are likely going to face some pretty stiff competition.

There is a rumor that they might be heading to Colorado for a tournament next year. @mrsbozz and I have already decided that we will be doing our best to try and make it out there to watch some softball!

I know this is a short post, but it is taking me a bit to get back into the groove of things. I promise I will get back to normal soon. Except for the fact that I am on vacation again next week, but after that I promise!
