I'm the same, I used to love flying. Now it feels like being shoved in a sardine can with tons of other people unless you pay for first/business class. Plus I have tinnitus some of which comes from the military, but I suspect flying hasn't helped.
Yes, that is exactly the way I feel too! I've got some constant ringing in my ears too. I might have to checkw with the doctor about it sometime.
Sadly, it's something that can't be cured. If there is an underlying disorder they might be able to prevent it from worsening. I've just learned to live with it and accept it's my friend for life, so I pretty much ignore it to the point I don't realize it's there unless I think about it.
Ah, okay. Yeah, I really only notice the ringing when I try to listen for it. At home it is bad too. I thought maybe it was an appliance at first give the high pitch, but it never went away.
