Digital Art - Red In The Darkness
What's up people, how are you? welcome to a new post, I hope you like it, I finished this drawing last night.
Process
Once the sketch of the drawing is ready I start to paint little by little, normally in grayscale, starting from a dark color to go placing the lighter colors little by little in certain parts of the face.
Then we start adding bright colors, shadows all over the body, in this case the shadows come from the left side, although they are soft.
Then we begin to place the shines on the cheeks, eyes, nose, mouth and shoulders, all those parts lightly, then with a soft shadow I place it on the left side of the face, quite soft, no dark colors, then with a slightly lighter color I give some touches of light on the lips and on the cheek besides improving the painting of the nose and lips.
Little by little the colors are softened to get a more homogeneous and natural skin, then we are adding colors, adding more shadow, outlining some parts of the drawing and the hair, besides the eyes and ready, it only remains to add some details.
I added some freckles and some kind of tattoos in red colors.
That was all the post for today, until next time.
I always appreciate it when someone leaves proof of work and not just the finished product. So thanks for taking the time to show the process! Great work, thank you!
Thanks dude!
Beautiful! I loved that you did the drawing in greyscale and that you added a touch of colour at key points at the end, like the lips which fascinated me. Good job!
