Welcome to a new post, tonight I was making a small fan art of Merlina, I hope you like it, as you saw it is not the usual way to do it, I did not paint her in such a gloomy way or with an annoying face, so somewhat cheerful in a way, with a little different color palette.

Que pasa gente como estan? sean bienvenidos a un nuevo post, esta noche estuve realizando un pequeño fan art de Merlina, espero les guste, como vieron no es la forma de hacerlo que se tiene habitualmente, no la pinte de una forma tan lúgubre ni con un rostro molesto, de cierta forma algo alegre, con una pequeña paleta de color diferente.

As you can see, once I had made the sketch I started working on the colors, originally it was going to be in black and white but I decided to add a lilac color and a kind of sky blue on the face little by little, I just wanted to do it differently and in a more interesting to what this character normally does, this time after painting the face I was blurring the face enough to integrate the colors.

Como ven una vez tenia hecho el boceto comencé a trabajar en los colores, originalmente iba a ser en blanco y negro pero decidí añadir un color lila y una especie de azul cielo en rostro poco a poco, solo quería hacerlo diferente y de una forma mas interesante a lo que se hace este personaje normalmente, en esta ocasión después de pintar el rostro si estuve difuminando bastante el rostro para integrar los colores.

I also had to reinforce the shadows on the face so that it did not lose its shape, something that I really loved painting was the hair, it had been a while since I did a somewhat rustic job, much less with that finish, I think it was quite similar to a real painting, at least the texture of the hair.

También tuve que ir reforzando las sombras en el rostro para que no perdiera la forma, algo que realmente me encanto pintar fue el cabello, ya tenia un tiempo sin hacer un trabajo algo rustico y mucho menos con ese acabado, creo que quedo bastante parecido a una pintura real, al menos la textura del cabello.

The last touch-up I gave to the body was to add the sparkles on the clothes and a very simple background, gently painting, just to work the secondary lights in the background into the silhouette of the drawing.

El ultimo retoque que di en el cuerpo fue añadir los brillos en la ropa y un fondo muy simple, suavemente pintando, solo para trabajar las luces secundarias del fondo en la silueta del dibujo.
