What's up people, how are you? Welcome to a new post, this afternoon I was painting this fan art of Dark Enchantress, I think it is the third time I have made an illustration of this character, it is very beautiful and this time I wanted to do it with a somewhat anime style with semi-realism.

Que pasa gente, como están? sean bienvenidos a un nuevo post, esta tarde estuve pintando este fan art de Dark Enchantress, creo que es la tercera ves que hago una ilustración de este personaje, es muy bonito y esta ves quise hacerlo con un estilo un poco anime con semi realista.

It's been a long time since I painted something in grayscale, a very long time, the last time I did something like that, seriously in a complicated illustration, I remember it was around 2021, from that moment on I didn't do anything complicated with grayscale, until I decided to do this type of painting again, since I think it will be very useful to me once I manage to master the theme of color in this type of illustrations.

Ha pasado muchísimo tiempo desde que pintaba algo en escala de grises, muchísimo, la ultima vez que hice algo así, serio en una ilustración complicada, recuerdo que fue por el 2021 aproximadamente, desde ese momento no hacia nada complicado con escala de grises, hasta que decidí volver a realizar este tipo de pintado, ya que creo que me será muy útil una vez logre dominar el tema del color en este tipo de ilustraciones.

It's a little "easier" it only makes the painting easier but then you'll still have to spend a lot of time coloring the canvas again with color, it's not simple to be honest, sometimes, at least in my experience I remember that it gets very tiring painted everything, and then having to put the color back, a product of my inexperience, I take it up again since I have seen many artists of a high level, which I aspire to reach, who work in this way, and the color management they have It is an absurd thing, which I want to learn and for this I must master and adapt to this technique.

Es un poco "mas fácil" solo facilita el tema del pintado pero luego igual tendrás que gastar un buen rato, coloreando nuevamente el lienzo con color, no es simple la verdad, algunas veces, al menos en mi experiencia recuerdo que se hace muy cansado pintado todo, y luego tener que volver a colocar el color, producto de mi inexperiencia, lo retomo nuevamente ya que he visto a muchos artistas de un nivel alto, al cual aspiro llegar que trabajan de esta forma, y el manejo de color que tienen es una cosa absurda, la cual yo quiero aprender y para esto debo dominar y adaptarme a esta técnica.

The only thing I put color so to speak, in a large area was on the skin, I put the base color and then went on to paint the hair, this time the hair was white but I did put some soft bluish and purple colors, here in I paused for a moment to change the tone of the background and paint the hair, then I was placing some parts of the clothes with a gold tone, a little with the clothes and then I started to work on the highlights of the face and with certain layers to obtain a tone closer to the skin I needed, I also placed a large moon in the background, with purple tones throughout the canvas and placed some highlights on the edges of the character, to differentiate it more from the background.

Lo único que coloque de color por asi decirlo, en un área extensa fue en la piel, puse el color base y luego pase a pintar el cabello, en esta oportunidad el cabello era blanco pero si coloque unos colores suaves azulados y morados, aquí en un momento me pause para cambiar la tonalidad del fondo y pintar el cabello, luego estuve colocando algunas partes de la ropa con tonalidad de oro, un poco con la ropa y luego comencé a trabajar en los brillos del rostro y con ciertas capas a obtener una tonalidad mas acercada a la piel que necesitaba, ademas coloque una luna grande en fondo, con tonalidades moradas en todo el lienzo y colocar algunos brillos en los bordes del personaje, para diferenciarlo mas del fondo.
