Do you have a minute ?

If so can you come to my office…

The conversation started near the elevator in the hallway and left me surprised in a way that was not visible to others .
The fact that she invited me in , to have a talk could be interesting but could well be about another coworker and could turn into an uncomfortable convo.
Not in a physical way, but in a way that I could be in a situation where I don’t wanna be in.
But collegue duty calls so let’s be open to what might be coming and deal with it accordingly.
Power is a thing some women don’t know what to do with but can cause mass disturbance in a big team.

Once in the office the tone changed. Not immediately but soon after. The fact that I am forced in a corner feels weird and really uncomfortable.
I am honest and always a team player. That has caused problems in the fast with einzelgängers. But all in all so far so good. Until now.
I don’t want this
I don’t want to be here! I hate this! I disagree! I get a brain freeze and look like I have been stung by a bee, as I hear the facts and the story.

Like my avatar, I remained quiet and at ease and answered : no can do!
Sorry , if I am disappointing you and maybe I am even unfair in your eyes but you have to do this alone. You can do this, what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger. And so will this honesty !
It will make me stronger as well , so thank you.
