UNITED STATES POSTAL SERVICE helpt me execute my surprises

Hive os life I always say, and like others say I came for the crypto and stayed for the people , well that’s no lie. It’s true it can happen that friendships grow and excist online. So also on the blockchain.

We are travelling and we are currently in Miami. While planning the trip , I immediately thought while I am in the US, the country where a few of my friends and fellow hivers are, I have to let them know that I was near and that they are appreciated.
And I had to plan ahead.

I planned ahead as plan and along the way srewed up almost to the point I wasn’t able to execute the surprise. But I did in the end pull it off.

I went to the United States Postal Service in Miami Beach, Florida. That’s where we are right now. It’s situated on 1300 Washington Ave, Miami Beach, FL 33119. Right next to the hotel we are staying in. I looked it up before we flew out here and saw that by coincidence after booking that it was near.

After finishing what was needed, we took the elevator down and went outside. I saw a blue postbox outside but I needed help with how much poststamps were nesseccary within the states to adresses in the states.

The building was old and beautiful. We saw the brass post boxes on the foyer entree and we had to walk to the back and wait in line.

While waiting ofcourse I snapped all the pictures for the blog.

It was early so it was not to crowded and we wouldn’t be to long because we promised the kids to go cycling.

We had to go to the back where the line was to be helped by a women from the postal service. I explained what I wanted and I asked here if I could make pictures during the proces for a blog. She wasn’t very surprised and was alright with it as long I kept her face out of the pictures.

The line was quick and easy, and I made a friend I the furry that was before me.

The surprises were weight all seperate and the got the needed amount of stamps and were layed aside till the payment was final and she brought them to the other desks to be delivered.

The whole proces took about ten minute and I was laughing to hubby that this worked now see if all 5 get it in the mail.
That is the goal and in the states sending to the states I think is less of a risk not coming to the adressee than from my home country Holland to here.

For now we have to wait and see, or wait at the postbox. The time before delivery is approximately 2-5 days. I don’t know where the difference in time stands for but in 3 days I will be home in Holland again and hopefully all is delivered and I get a notice.

Now wait and see what happens ….
I am excited. And again while on holiday my family helps and keeps the hive alive during travelling. Excitement is rubbing of on them and makes it less hard for me to be a daily.
