We try to keep you informed about the tribes which we have invested in with Brofund, since you, as a BRO-Holder, have also indirectly invested in those projects. Due to this, it's possible that you will see some tribes often, and others not at all. This hasn't got anything to do with the tribe itself, or that these tribes are not active. It's only because of the fact that we have not (yet) invested in these projects. Since @raymondspeaks is always on the lookout for projects on Hive-Engine to possibly support, this can change from week to week.

We have decided not to include more than 3 projects per week in the Bro Newspaper. This makes it easier for you to read, and you don't get an excessive amount of information. If I were you, I would pay close attention to those three projects, because they could become very interesting in the short run. For now, let's just say that your time and attention could pay for itself!




Hello BROs!

For the past week I have mostly ignored crypto, sometimes you have to take a step back. But now that the end of the week is approaching (I'm writing this on Friday evening), it's time to take another look at how things are going. And to my surprise it looks greener than I expected. But is this the bounce people are hoping for? Have we hit the bottom, or is this just a relieve rally and should we dump everything here to pick it up doubled at the bottom of the next leg down? Whoever has THE answer can say it in the comments. I'm not going to make any statements about this. So now that you know what I am NOT going to do, let's talk about what I will do! I am going look at what has happened, or will soon happen on our beloved HIVE Blockchain.

This week was the second payout of the Hive dividends built up over the first week and we can say that this week again has been a very good week in terms of dividends.

Now of course it sounds nice to receive Hive dividends, and trust me, it is nice to receive Hive dividends. And yes, you can receive that too, all it takes is to have BRO in your Hive-Engine wallet.

Of course you can just buy BRO, but if you delegate Hivepower to @brofi, you earn BRO for that too. So what's your excuse for not having BRO in your wallet?

17 days ago @hivebuilder sent out the message that the rewards would start. YAY! And as is their custom, they have kept their word. The rewards for holding SCV tokens trickle into the wallets of the holders. Not only that, but also the tokens in your wallet have become more valuable. Anyone who bought in early has been able to see a nice boost in value for his/her tokens.

Now yesterday my eye fell on an update for the SCV token. A "MUST READ", and now I know that every team thinks the updates about their token are important. But I don't know Hivebuilder as a team that forces every update on everyone. On the contrary! Hivebuilder mainly works from the background, which is why they are not well known within the Hive Blockchain, which is a shame. Their projects are aimed at giving EVERYONE profits, so why don't more people buy into their projects is a mystery to me.

Regardless of that little thing, as a holder of SCV tokens I like to stay informed and if I see a post that is even labeled a "MUST READ", I definitely read the blog. And that last one gave me the idea to report it here in the Bro Newspaper as well. Because if you bought in SCV, it might be nice to know that a mistake has been made by the team. NO DON'T WORRY!. There is also a solution, and that solution ... that just makes it better for everyone. Now if you're thinking, "How then?". Then I advise you to read the update!

In the meantime, SPK network's LARYNX airdrop has been going on for some time, and we are claiming our tokens every month. But to put it in numbers, 99% of all claimers have absolutely no use case for the tokens that we get so generously dropped.

SPK network plans to change that for us. We can now delegate our LARYNX tokens to then earn SPK tokens. How does that sound?

Sometimes Discord is a big distraction that you don't want at all, and sometimes it's in Discord that you see news that gets you excited. Think back to when @themarkymark launched his Hive Punks. The hype was unreal by Hive standards. And in just a few hours, all 10K punks were minted.

After that, of course, a lively trade developed in the Hive Punks, people who went looking to collect a certain collection. One wanted to own all the bald punks, the other wanted all the punks with a crown, another wanted only punks with a rarity above 1000 points ... and I could go on and on.

But lately it's been a bit quiet around the punks. And that my Hive friends, that's about to change! When it's going to happen I don't know... but in the Discord from Blockheadgames it's already been announced. There's going to be a claim drop for Punk Holders! Even @themarkymark occasionally announces something, in a way that wouldn't look out of place on LeoFinance. A claim drop for Hive Punk holders... SOON! With the difference that Marky has already promised that it would be this month, provided that nothing crazy happens.

I also don't know if the snapshot has already been made ... maybe you're still in time to buy a few more punks, maybe you're too late for a claim drop, but then you would own a unique Hive Punk.




So, are you getting excited yet? All this news sounds bullish for Hive to me. You can clearly see that there's a lot of development here on chain. Can't wait to see the future holds!

I don't want to overflow the BRO Newspaper with contests, so if you want to find more, go ahead. There are plenty that I didn't mention here. But for us it's time to see if there's some juicy gossip to share.

GOSSIPS


This week the news came out that @melbourneswest is in danger of being involved in a lawsuit, it seems that it is not so easy to build a house. Builders are apparently not the easiest people. I think the same goes for politicians. I'm curious how this will go on.

Meanwhile, @ecoinstant is in America enjoying some family time. And while we all know it's important to honor your family, what happens to the land he bought in Colombia in the meantime?

Then there are the Stick Up Boys. You never know which boy you're talking to, especially if they also start throwing their gifs around, talking about partners going to the beach and then again talking about Listnerds to sell. Dumping is a better word here. But we won't blame them, after all, a mortgage has to be paid on the new house that one of the boys recently bought ...

That reminds me of moving again, and @jongolson knows all about that. It even went so far as to temporarily run his shows from Starbucks. That's now a thing of the past, since Jon made a commitment to Elon Musk and has been thrilled with Elon's passion for space. Jon has been seeing stars since this week and knows how to link the stars. Jon happy, and Elon even happier.

And then we get stuck in the relocations for a while, because there are quite a few relocations going on. @blainjones is trying to move in between all his busy work. I have no idea what he's been spending more time on this past week, moving... or listnerds.

For @thisismylife it was clear. She didn't have that much time. The rented van has to go back tomorrow. And moving 5 suitcases is simply easier with a large van. So her move to a permanent home had to happen quickly. So that she could also go shopping for some nice things with the van before it has to go back.

And while quite a few people are moving left and right, our @raymondspeaks was sick. He literally felt like shit, but the good news is that he is feeling a bit better today. Though he still takes it easy... now I don't know if that's something new, Ray taking it easy?

This right here can become my new favorite newspaper, I'm glad I found it.
As a side not, running a spk/larynx node it's easy and not expensive at all, you could even do it on a spare laptop/pc or even your own if you're running Linux on it, but right now the payout is minimal, I'm mostly doing it for fun but all that can change in the near future.
