Community Spotlight

Hey all!

This was supposed to be Tuesday's post but I got myself a little bogged down by Pulsechain and all the interesting things happening over there. Looking at arbitrage opportunities and so on!

We're looking at Pimp today (again) because we're in neck-deep for a hive engine token. Pimp was modelled on the BRO token as witty has repeatedly told me, which I admire - they do say if someone copies you then take that as a compliment rather than a threat. It means they admire what you've done. So we went heel to toe in with PIMP and all it has to offer.

Front end

You can find the Pimp front end here: https://pimp.media/ It's a basic hive engine front end but they are working with us and we are hoping to drop a cine-like solution for them. This will hopefully increase the user experience for pimp users. As we've seen with Cine it wont pump the price of pimp but it will offer current front end users a more seamless experience and allow the opportunity for future advertising.

We are also "pimping" out the front end in our own style, in that we are trying to encourage BRO's to use it. It's a general tribe so there are no strict subjects you need to skirt around, you can blog about regular stuff and you are fine to go. We will be regularly curating our community on it!

Wednesday's Meetings.

Sadly I never seem to make these because they are always between the time I pick my son up from school and when I have lunch. Witty was telling me yesterday that I'm one of the odd one's out being in the UK -- so unfortunately I rarely make these meetings.

Every week on a Wednesday the pimp community gathers round to talk about all things related to their community. It's very informational because many leaders from around hive pop in to say hi and to tout their projects. Today we heard from the lads from the @trustexchange talking about their NFTs and how it's a great bargain. I could only make the last 5 minutes and had to quickly dash off again.

I'm going to make it my goal to start making Pimp meetings on a Wednesday. It will mean that I have to have my lunch early, but so be it. They are just so damn informational.

PIMP Stake.

Legion now has 100,000 PIMP stake and it will be curating Centurions with extreme bias. So if you own over 2000 Legion then make sure you pop on your pimp tags for extra exposure and some loving from our upvote. Just remember though, we still wont vote trash. We also vote manually and diligently. We are looking to grow that stake as well.

Community at large

The pimp community is one of the more friendlier communities and why I wanted to get involved with them. @enginewitty has some real exciting ideas, and we hope that with the help of our team we'll be able to realise those.

I'd recommend jumping into it and giving it a try. If not for us, then at least to be a PIMP for the BROs, haha. See what I did there?
