Happy New Year: Looking Forward to 2022

avatar

The New Year is upon us and things are looking bright all around. Bitcoin has become cheaper to buy, which means everything right now is sold at bargain basement prices as other investors look to close out their positions for the year ahead. Get it whilst it's cheap my friends! It wont be for long!

The Year ahead - Q1

There's a few things coming to The Man Cave over the next few months that I'd like to put down in writing so I know where I'm going!

Liquidity

The first problem I'd like to solve is our liquidity problem. It is well known to me (and of course other people) that what stops investment into BRO is the fact that if you buy into us then it's quite hard to sell out. Anything can happen at any time, and there's absolutely no use saying that "Oh, BRO is worth $7.22" when there is no-one actually buying in at that price. Sometimes sellers will need to sell in stages, and often selling lots would cause our price to fall to the floor. That's not good for anyone that wants to sell out, or for the strength of our token.

I did give it a lot of thought over the last two months, and a big part of me wanted to start a liquidity pool, however I couldn't think of any benefits at all to pooling our BRO. There's already ample rewards for just holding our coin.

Luckily, over the last six months I have been building, and I have amassed enough wealth to create significant liquidity over time on our BRO hive engine market. That means over the next month (perhaps two) I will be creating a big buy order at our actual fund value. Right now each token is worth $7.22, so I will be building up to that over the coming weeks.

I also have asked @reazuliqbal to create me a bot that creates a lot of liquidity at token price.

Eventually, I will also be looking at creating BRO liquidity too. As I collect BRO, because people always sell, then I will be able to create a significant buy in price too for people that want to effectively "buy into us." I know there are a few people that were sad they missed us at 50c. Well, now's your chance before we go even higher.

Dividends

I thought a lot about what I said in my last plans and perhaps what I said was a little hasty about giving out all of our profits. It's not that I don't want to, it's that I was forced to think about fund growth over reckless spending! That's definitely not to say that I won't be looking into good solid projects to stake in to give out holders dividends.

So the dividends over quarter one I have decided to tackle them in this way:

  1. Actively seek out and invest in good solid projects for the sole purpose of dividends. There are several already on hive that I am actively looking to gain a deeper position in, and thicken the quota of dividends passed out.

  2. Complete the Chaos Legion set in splinterlands, and actively pursue a gold chaos legion foil set. Once lands are released, then everything we earn from here will be split in dividends.

  3. Look into a dividend model that brings dividends to hive from external projects (this may be a future aim because of the lack of devs on hive)

And through this, looking forward in the next three months we should have a fairly robust dividend model (again) going forward.

BRO Website

Our Website is a fairly basic WordPress website for which I have zero time to work on. I have scouted out two very good UI/UX & back end people to build us a new front end for BRO to suit our needs. Hopefully in collaboration with @taskmanager (if he's available) you will be able to interact with @brofi from here too.

The website will be up to date and professional, and I will try and look into user adoption more.

CineTV

It's no secret that CineTV has been on the decline over the last six months. This is mainly because I am spread too thin, and the people that I brought on to develop as we build are busy doing their own thing. Which is fine, it happens. That's why I've taken on board @papacrusher to oversee the runnings of CineTv from the end of this year.

Papacrusher is a Police Lieutenant with a vested interest in film and TV, and from what we have been drawing up together in our secret bunker, if we pull it all off, it should have some real renewed excitement about Cine.

But for the meantime we are just looking at people using our platform and getting folks active. We'll be doing this through giveaways and lots of other fun activities.

Stay Tuned!

Looking ahead?

From all that's happened over the last year. The plans I've made, and how often I've been side side-tracked from them I've realised that it's perhaps best to plan one quarter at a time, meet those goals and then re-establish our footing.

So that's it for now.

Hope you've had happy holidays and a happy new year!

I like the idea of focusing quarter by quarter. Perhaps the liquidity works with each other.
