Influx of New Users?

Wen moon? Wen money? Wen wen?

Are you looking forward to the influx of new users that the new bull market will bring us? I am. I wrote yesterday about my interesting friend I met last bull market with the username Bastard. I'll never forget that dude, and some of the others that disappeared during the bear.

They will be back soon though, so don't fret.

The modern bull markets remind me of the times when we would sit back on mIRC at Christmas and watch the influx of new users to our channels. Anyone who was around before the Internet was mainstream will remember that Christmas time brought with it a new and interesting amount of people.

And that meant that the poorer countries would be out in force too. With new users brings new opportunities. I didn't work online back then so I don't know about any other avenues but the biggest notable difference I saw was in dating and relationships.

Young men would get a new PC which was connected to the Internet from their parents (or partner) and they would connect online for the first time and go to meet new and interesting people on various forms of chat. This brought with it (in particular) new and interesting women from the Philippine's looking to snag themselves a husband and gateway to the west.

Christmas time was always the time that we'd all at least double the people that came to our channels and servers.

And the bull market here is no different. When everyone is talking about crypto then the whole world wants to get in on the action. The last two years have been dry and uninteresting because all the money flows out like a tsunami and there's not much left for the little people - but in bull market season there's plenty to go around for everyone.

So we're definitely going to see an influx of new users to hive whether we say there wont be or we believe it will truly happen. Yeah, it's going to happen, and they'll be coming in their droves. And our projects will be filling up again with eager and willing people.

It's going to be immense.

Just think of all the new and interesting people you're about to meet and friendships you will forge, and some lasting friendships at that. @stickupboys and I met two years ago and he's been great to have around ever since I met him. As a friend, and in business.

Your people tend to stick around during the bear.

Which will bring with it new and eager wide-eyed optimism to the hive ecosystem, which might bring along with it new token ideas and interesting ventures for us to take part in.

Just don't get too wrapped up in the eagerness of it all, because we all know what happens in the slump, we all get obliterated and tokens die a horrible death, even some of the most well meaning projects -- and that comes with a lot of experience and hard work.

But all will be well. It's the time for excitement, and fun, and meeting new people, expanding your contacts, and ultimately, making bank.

It's going to be a fun year or two mark my words!
