Updates About Legion over the next 6 Months.

We have came to the decision that we will be stopping the Legion airdrop on Monday 22nd May. Sunday 21st May will be your last airdrop of Legion. We made this decision because of two factors:

  1. The amount of airdrop being sold back to us
  2. The growth of Legion is being impacted because of #1
  3. Because of 1) and 2) people are sceptical to buy in, which I understand.

The last two months have been hard on our growth, and as a precaution for the future we have decided to halt it in its tracks before inflation gets out of control -- and it will if we let it.

To counteract what's happening on the market we will do the following:

  1. Take all @wearelegion sells off the market.
  2. Buy up the remaining Legion on the market (Might take a month or so)
  3. When I'm confident the selling has stopped I'll allow them to be sold again

None of this will impact your hive drops you get from Legion, or the benefits you will get in the future, or what we're building. But if I keep buying back the airdrop then it will hinder what we're doing, and I don't relish that too much.

Everyone got themselves a few days off 1:1 so enjoy what you were given so far! And make it last!

It wasn't my intention to do this, and we could have went on a lot longer if I wanted to. However, the idea was to give people free Legion, and not free hive. Whilst most of you understood the idea to do this and I had the funds to support this for at the very least the next few months I did not want to spend the period I had marked for growth buying up a large percentage of my Legion back.

I am also not one to toy with the market either, and the buybacks were because I understood the need to sell when things get bad, so this is why our plans have not changed, and we will continue to build on what we were doing!

There are some pretty cool things being worked on in the pipeline.

If you have delegated to @stickupboys' voter for the music community then yes, you will still earn legion. And yes, you can still earn legion from the pools we have put in. So you can still get your hands on it!

This was purely a decision to protect the project and those that had already put funds into it to buy some Legion who had no BRO.

However, the idea was to give people free Legion, and not free hive.

I fear you were not even giving people "free Hive."* You were giving them free fiat. For most people (yes, there are exceptions) free money basically amounts to "free pizza" and such things. Sad, but generally true... and at the heart of why so many projects that are front loaded with "free stuff" as a draw end up going T.U.
