What New Tokens Will We See This Bull?

So we're headed into the next phase of another bullmarket. We're hurtling towards new all time highs and even before Bitcoin has halved. I don't know if this should be worrying, or really exciting. One thing is for certain though is that I'm starting to feel the electricity of a couple of years ago all over again.

We're beginning to see the start of new projects; and some that are built out of real wide eyed excitement and optimism, people are starting to feel excited and eager to see what goodies the markets have in store for them ahead. I'm a purveyor of Bsc defi lets say and I can already feel it building.

So that brings me to hive. We're still a little rusty from the years previously but I feel the excitement needle just starting to move a little. We're a token that takes a while to get started, we need to be warmed up a bit before we start to explode.

I met some crazily interesting people last bullmarket, most of which have disappeared into the limelight and haven't come back.. yet. I remember speaking to a guy that called himself Bastard. It was a strange name, but it always stuck with me because he was happy for everyone to call him Bastard. Strange but true. I hope people like him come back because that's what I like about hive, there's plenty of dry humour to go around.

And that brings me to hive engine. What will we see next there? Only a few of us have survived the wreckage. BRO and LGN still stand strong in the face of hard times, but a lot of other tokens that started have crumbled and haven't been able to recover. It's the same on Bsc, and Eth, apart from the main tokens, it was only the tough and resilient tokens with good teams behind them that stood the test of time.

But one thing I've realised is when there's money to be made, people will come, and that'll be no exception on the hive engine market. But the great thing with markets is that people want new and upgraded things all the time. I doubt people will want a standard tribe token anymore when there's Leofinance dominating the sphere when it comes to tribes.

I doubt people will also be interested in tokens like BRO, it would be hard to get people to throw their hard earned hive at when there are already so many tokens to choose from that pay out hive or a percentage of some other token.

Perhaps we'll see some proper innovation and creation. The good thing about Splinterlands is that it began in the tail end of the 2017 bull market. I remember throwing away some of my hard earned crypto at splinterlands when it first came along and things were dying down after a season of craziness.

I always say the worst time to build is in the bull market because then you don't know how low people are willing to go with your token when the crunch time comes. It's the time when millionaires are made, and subsequently lost a few months later. There's a running joke about crypto millionaires being McDonalds workers.

But people will build and we'll see a new influx of tokens, and we'll also see a new influx of communities. What do you think will be coming to hive engine this (and next) year, and will they be able to withstand the craziness that will ensue?
