A place with dreamy food (Esp/ Eng)

A few days ago, we decided to take a trip to the beach, because for some time we had it in mind the whole family and looking for information about where to stay for a night, we found the hotel La Gabarra del Caribe; but one of the things that caught our attention is the food offered in the hotel facilities. It is located in a beautiful open-air terrace, with a churuata or enramada made of palms, which set the whole place where diners sit to eat; it offers its services to guests, but also to those who want to visit and enjoy a good meal, accompanied by a variety of drinks.

We liked from the beginning the natural environment and the careful attention received, just for that reason, we decided to have our meals there and we were not wrong. They have a great variety of options in their menu, they offer from the typical beach fish that comes with tostones and salad, to hamburgers and hot dogs, a variety of salads and pastas, there is plenty to choose from and not to mention the types of breakfasts; there is the American type that comes with toast, eggs, bacon and pancakes to the traditional of our land, among which there are several options.

Like the rich empanadas with different fillings; the infallible arepas with eggs, cheese and beans, or arepas with the filling you want, but there are also the rich cachapas, which are accompanied by its rich hand cheese. My family went for that option, we all ordered cachapas, we only varied the drinks, the children ordered some delicious natural juices and my husband and I went for a delicious hot chocolate. I must tell you that everything was exquisite. There was absolutely nothing left on those plates, ha, ha, ha, ha.

When it was almost time for lunch-dinner, since we spent the day at the beach enjoying the sun, the sea and the sand, we went for some delicious spaghetti Carbonara, accompanied by some natural juices for the children and some beers for my husband and me, they were delicious, absolutely nothing was missing, they were just right, the pasta al dente, for the ingredients did not deny anything, besides the pecorino cheese that accompanied it, put its point for the glory of the taste, they were great. We were completely satisfied.

They also offered desserts, but we were always so satisfied that we could not have more, ha, ha, ha, ha; however, they always gave us candies between each meal. I really recommend them, the place is run by a married couple, together with their daughters, it is a family business. They start working from 7:30 am until 8:00 pm. Apart from food, desserts, they offer a variety of drinks ranging from juices, tea, chocolate, beers and some cocktails. All prepared on the spot.

Its spaces lend themselves to have a few hours of relaxation, tranquility throughout the sea front, with a beautiful view of reverie, as I said, no matter if you are not a guest, you can access the terrace, if you just want to eat or drink something; so if you ever go through this part of La Guaira, Venezuela, come with confidence to this hotel and you will see the difference in the attention and taste to be served by these people so friendly. Hace pocos días, decidimos hacer un paseo a la playa, porque desde hace algún tiempo lo teníamos en mente toda la familia y buscando información acerca de donde hospedarnos por una noche, dimos con el hotel La Gabarra del Caribe ; pero una de las cosas que más llamó nuestra atención es la comida que ofrecen en las instalaciones del hotel. Esta se encuentra ubicada en una hermosa terraza al aire libre, con una churuata o enramada hecha de palmas, que ambientan todo el lugar donde los comensales se sientan a comer; esta ofrece sus servicios a los huéspedes, pero también a quienes quieran visitarla y disfrutar de una buena comida, acompañada de variedad de bebidas.

A nosotros desde un principio nos gustó el ambiente natural y la esmerada atención recibida, solo por eso, decidimos hacer nuestras comidas allí y no nos equivocamos. Tienen una gran variedad de opciones en su menú, ofrecen desde el típico pescado playero que viene con tostones y ensalada, hasta hamburguesas y perros calientes, variedad de ensaladas y pastas, hay para escoger y ni se diga de los tipos de desayunos; está el tipo americano que viene con sus tostadas, huevos, tocino y panqueques hasta el tradicional de nuestra tierra, entre los cuales hay varias opciones.

Como las ricas empanadas con diferentes rellenos; las infaltables arepas con sus huevos, queso y caraotas, o las arepas con el relleno que desees, pero también están las ricas cachapas, que vienen acompañadas de su rico queso de mano. Por esa opción se fue mi familia, todos pedimos cachapas, solo variamos las bebidas, los niños pidieron unos ricos jugos naturales y mi esposo y yo nos fuimos por un rico chocolate caliente. Debo decirles que todo estaba exquisito. En esos platos no quedo absolutamente nada, ja, ja, ja.

Cuando llego la hora casi del almuerzo- cena, ya que pasamos el día en la playa disfrutando del sol, el mar y la arena, nos fuimos por unos ricos espaguetis a la Carbonara, acompañados por unos ricos jugos naturales para los niños y unas cervezas para mi esposo y para mí, estaban deliciosos, no les faltaba absolutamente nada, estaban en su punto, la pasta al dente, para los ingredientes no le negaron nada, aparte el queso pecorino que le acompañaba, le puso su punto para la gloria del gusto, estaban geniales. Quedamos completamente satisfechos.

Aparte también ofrecían postres, pero siempre quedábamos tan satisfechos que no podíamos con más, ja, ja, ja; sin embargo, siempre nos obsequiaban entre cada comida caramelos. De verdad que los recomiendo, el local lo atiende una pareja de esposos, junto a sus hijas, es un negocio familiar. Empiezan a trabajar desde las 7:30 am hasta las 8:00 pm. Aparte de las comidas, postres te ofrecen una variedad de bebidas que van desde jugos, té, chocolate, cervezas y algunos cocteles. Todo preparado al momento.

Sus espacios se prestan para tener unas horas de relax, tranquilidad en todo el frente del mar, con una vista hermosa de ensoñación, como ya les comente, no importa si no eres huésped, puedes acceder a la terraza, si solo quieres comer o beber algo; así es que si algún día vas por esta parte de la Guaira- Venezuela, llégate con confianza a este hotel y verás la diferencia de la atención y gusto al ser atendido por estas personas tan amables.
