CineTV Contest: Constantine (Eng/ Esp)

When I saw this new CineTV Contest #54 - Favorite Keanu Reeves Movie where the main character is one of my favorite actors, Keanu Reeves, I couldn't stay behind and decided to participate, because this actor is great; movie where he acts, good movie. That's why I invite my friends @actioncats and @antoniarhuiz to participate.

Choosing one of Keanu Reeves' movies, for me has been a dilemma, more, however, I went for a movie, that since I saw it, marked a before and after, as soon as my perception of this versatile actor, became more present, I established a special connection with him and his character in this movie and it is none other than Constantine. Its subject matter at once attracted me and clicked with me, because it deals with paranormal themes, other dimensions, good and evil God and the Unnamable ... and for that reason at once I loved it. In this movie you can see a Keanu, very strong spiritually and even physically, despite being sick inside his character, in a literal fight against evil personified by demons and evil spirits, in an all-out war between him and them.

His great battle takes place thanks to a girl (Rachel Weisz) who lost her twin sister in a very mysterious way and looking for answers, she found the need to look for the protagonist, Constantine (Keanu), to help her get answers, ending up seeing both in a plot where hell and heaven are present, angels and demons and in the middle of all this, them. There are scenes where I wondered if they would be like this in reality or in other dimensions, ha, ha, ha, ha; I must say that these scenes attract the viewer by providing action, suspense, curiosity, mysticism, certain terror and I personally love it.

But among so many fantastic scenes, there was one in which I take my hat off for how well staged and it was when John Constantine (Keanu Reeves), had the demonic confrontation that I was with Lucifer himself and Constantine, for the first time had a sincere conversation with God asking for help, in a very humble and heartfelt way in his last moment of life, had a true moment of redemption by putting himself as a sacrifice, in order to free the girl who asked for help from hell itself; then the Nameless One arrives to claim him for hell, since he had not had a life worthy of heaven, for trying to commit suicide...

And it is there where the miracle happens, when he tries to drag him to the very hell, he can't even move him a millimeter, Constantine ascending at that moment to heaven, illuminating himself with the Glory of God, this scene for me was the most memorable and although this movie has its years (2005), I can't stop watching it every time it is presented, it is one of my favorites, in fact I am waiting for the sequel that will soon be for the premiere; I don't want to imagine if it will be as good as this one, which is already a classic or it will be better, what I do know is that I hope I don't miss it.

That's why I recommend Constantine, if you haven't seen it yet, so you can see a masterful performance of this great actor and understand the one that is coming, which surely will not disappoint us, greetings!

Cuando vi este nuevo CineTV Contest #54 - Favorite Keanu Reeves Movie donde el protagonista es uno de mis actores favoritos, Keanu Reeves, no pude quedarme atrás y decidí participar, pues este actor es genial; película donde actúa, película buena. Es por eso que invito a mis amigas @actioncats y @antoniarhuiz a participar.

Escoger una de las películas de Keanu Reeves, para mí ha sido un dilema, más, sin embargo, me fui por una película, que desde que la vi, marco un antes y después, en cuanto mi percepción de este versátil actor, se hizo más presente, establecí una conexión especial con él y su personaje en esta película y no es otra que Constantine. Su temática de una vez me atrajo e hizo clic conmigo, pues trata sobre los temas paranormales, otras dimensiones, el bien y el mal Dios y el Innombrable... ya por eso de una vez me encanto. En esta película se puede ver a un Keanu, muy fuerte espiritualmente e incluso físicamente, a pesar de estar enfermo dentro de su personaje, en una lucha literal contra el mal personificado por demonios y espíritus malignos, en una guerra sin cuartel entre él y ellos.

Su gran batalla se da gracias a una chica (Rachel Weisz) que perdió a su hermana gemela de una manera muy misteriosa y buscando las respuestas, se vio en la necesidad en buscar al protagonista, Constantine (Keanu), para que la ayudara a conseguir respuestas, terminando por verse ambos en una trama donde el infierno y el cielo están presentes, ángeles y demonios y en medio de todo esto, ellos. Hay escenas donde me preguntaba si estás en realidad serían así en la realidad u otras dimensiones, ja, ja, ja; debo decir que estas, atraen al espectador brindándole acción, suspenso, curiosidad, misticismo, cierto terror y eso personalmente me encanta.

Pero entre tantas escenas fantásticas, hubo una en que me quito el sombrero de lo bien puesta en escena y fue cuando ya John Constantine (keanu Reeves),tuvo el enfrentamiento demoniaco que fui con el mismísimo Lucifer y Constantine, por primera vez tuvo una sincera conversación con Dios pidiéndole ayuda, de una manera muy humilde y de corazón en su último momento de vida, tuvo un verdadero momento de redención poniéndose como sacrificio, para poder liberar a la chica que le pidió ayuda del mismísimo infierno; entonces llega el Innombrable a reclamarle para el infierno, puesto que él no había tenido una vida merecedora del cielo, por intentar suicidarse…

Y es allí donde ocurre el milagro, cuando este intenta arrastrarlo al mismísimo infierno, no puede ni moverlo ni un milímetro, ascendiendo Constantine en ese momento hacia el cielo, iluminándose con la Gloria de Dios esta escena para mí fue la más memorable y a pesar de que esta película ya tiene sus años (2005), no puedo dejar de verla cada vez que la presentan, es una de mis favoritas, de hecho estoy a la espera de la secuela que próximamente estará para el estreno; no me quiero imaginar si será igual de buena que esta, que ya viene siendo un clásico o será mejor, lo que si sé, es que espero no perdérmela.

Es por eso que recomiendo Constantine, si aún no la han visto para que puedan ver una actuación magistral de este gran actor y de paso puedan entender la que viene en camino, que seguramente no nos defraudara, ¡saludos!
