Iglesia "Nuestra Señora de Lourdes" 👻(Esp/ Eng)

Hay un lugar en Caracas, que está en todo el centro de ella, y ese lugar es el popular Calvario, que es un espacio único, donde hay mucha historia de aquella Caracas de antaño, cuando nuestra ciudad estaba rodeada de las bellas casas de techos rojos, donde se entretejían muchas historias, cuentos y leyendas que han trascendido en el tiempo y la que les voy a contar es parte de una de esas tantas historias y tienen como escenario este hermoso lugar... El Calvario.

El Calvario está lleno de espacios para caminar libremente, bellamente decorados y bordeado de naturaleza, de bellos árboles, parques, plazas y hasta un parque infantil, pero ¿Quién al caminar por ellos se imaginan las historias que guarda en sus entrañas?, hay muchas historias que te ponen los vellitos del cuerpo de puntas y esta que les voy a contar fue la que más llamó mi atención…

Casi en la cima de esta montaña, porque es una pequeña montaña, hay una hermosa iglesia, que a simple vista se ve hermosa, con una arquitectura digna de fotografiar por lo hermosa que es y por los espacios que la rodea; pero lo que más intriga es la historia que la rodea. Esta iglesia se llama "Nuestra Señora de Lourdes", hoy en día se mantiene completamente sellada a razón de un terrible hecho que se suscitó en su interior, se cuenta que por la época de los 1800 y tantos, al poco tiempo de inaugurada la iglesia, el cura que estaba a cargo de esta, se enamoró de una bella joven...

Al parecer la chica estaba próxima a casarse, pero al conocer a este cura nació entre ellos una historia de amor tortuosa, pues sabían que su relación era prohibida y nunca sería aceptada, aparte del escándalo que supondría que esta historia de amor se supiera. A pesar de esta situación, ellos consumaron su amor y esto se llegó a saber, obviamente la chica no se casó y sobre ellos cayó el escarnio público, este no soporto su sentimiento de culpa al ver fallado a sus votos y al ver perjudicado de alguna forma a la joven, que termino por suicidarse dentro de la misma con una cuerda, ahorcándose.

Desde entonces la iglesia se cerró y por un buen tiempo estuvo destinada al olvido. Para contarles esta historia me fui al lugar y entreviste a varias personas que tienen años trabajando cerca del lugar y me cuentan, que por las noches se puede oír como si llamaran a misa, que han visto parado al cura, al frente de la entrada o en sus inmediaciones, que le han visto asomado por los grandes ventanales, como quien espera a alguien... cuando se sabe que aunque ha sido reparada y cuidada sus espacios exteriores, no ha sido habilitada más para su uso.

Se dice que antes de ser recuperada por la ciudad, era un sitio donde se refugiaban indigentes o personas de malas costumbres, pero que salían del lugar, con verdadero espanto; aparte que muchos investigadores de lo paranormal que trataron de incursionar dentro de ella, para obtener alguna experiencia de esta índole; otros entraban a realizar ritos o ceremonias y debido a tantas incidencias hoy en día la mantienen prácticamente sellada para la incursión de los curiosos y por su puesto bien vigilada.

Lo que si les puedo decir que a pleno día es un bello lugar, pero cerca de ella se puede sentir un ambiente triste, como si no fuera de este tiempo..., quise compartirles mi misteriosa visita a esta curiosa iglesia, que quien la ve a simplemente sencillamente la ve hermosa, pero solitaria, pero que tras de ella guarda un oscuro pasado que mantiene sellado tras sus muros... El Calvario is full of spaces to walk freely, beautifully decorated and surrounded by nature, beautiful trees, parks, squares and even a playground, but who, when walking through them, can imagine the stories that it keeps in its entrails, there are many stories that make your hair stand on end and this one that I am going to tell you was the one that caught my attention...

Almost at the top of this mountain, because it is a small mountain, there is a beautiful church, which at first glance looks beautiful, with an architecture worthy of photographing because of its beauty and the spaces that surround it; but what is most intriguing is the history that surrounds it. This church is called "Nuestra Señora de Lourdes", today it is kept completely sealed because of a terrible event that took place inside it, it is said that around the time of the 1800s, shortly after the inauguration of the church, the priest who was in charge of it, fell in love with a beautiful young woman ....

Apparently the girl was about to get married, but when she met this priest a tortuous love story was born between them, because they knew that their relationship was forbidden and would never be accepted, apart from the scandal that would suppose that this love story would be known. Despite this situation, they consummated their love and this became known, obviously the girl did not marry and on them fell the public scorn, he could not stand his feeling of guilt to see failed to their vows and to see somehow harmed the girl, who ended up committing suicide inside the same with a rope, hanging herself.

Since then the church was closed and for a long time was destined to oblivion. To tell you this story I went to the place and interviewed several people who have been working near the place for years and they told me that at night you can hear as if they were calling to mass, that they have seen the priest standing in front of the entrance or in the vicinity, that they have seen him leaning out of the large windows, as if he was waiting for someone? when it is known that although it has been repaired and its exterior spaces have been cared for, it has not been enabled for its use.

It is said that before being recovered by the city, it was a place where homeless people or people of bad habits took refuge, but they left the place, with real fear; apart from many paranormal investigators who tried to incursion inside it, to obtain some experience of this nature; others entered to perform rites or ceremonies and due to so many incidents today they keep it practically sealed for the incursion of the curious and of course well guarded.

What I can tell you is that in broad daylight is a beautiful place, but near it you can feel a sad atmosphere, as if it were not of this time ..., I wanted to share with you my mysterious visit to this curious church, that who sees it simply sees it beautiful, but lonely, but behind it keeps a dark past that keeps sealed behind its walls ....
