My brewing break (Es/ En)

There are few drinks I like, but the ones I like are my favorite when it comes to taking a break or sharing a moment with friends or with my partner; as with my favorite drink on this occasion I present below. My country is quite tropical and these days there has been a heat wave quite strong and this climate is combined with one of my favorite drinks that is none other than beer; we have several brands as far as beer is concerned, but I only like two brands, one is Polar Pilsen and the other is Zulia.

I’m not much of a booze drinker, but when there’s a celebration involving a toast, a little friendly time, I try to have one of these two beers.
On this occasion, I went out with my husband to do some weekend shopping and after these purchases for our cupboard, we stopped to cool off for a moment and we did it with two Pilsen Polars in a can, as this has a more pleasant taste in this presentation than in the bottle itself; my husband explains to me that this presentation is of older preparation and, therefore, has better flavor, I agree with him, because I have tried the two presentations, bottle and can and if there’s a difference, can is better for my taste.

Hay pocas bebidas que me gustan, pero las que me gustan son mis preferidas a la hora de hacer una pausa o compartir un momento entre amigos o con mi pareja; como con mi bebida favorita en esta ocasión que les presento a continuación. Mi país es de clima bastante tropical y por estos días ha habido una onda de calor bastante fuerte y este clima se compagina con una de mis bebidas favoritas que no es otra que la cerveza; nosotros acá tenemos varias marcas en cuanto a cerveza se refiere, pero a mí solo me gustan dos marcas, una es la Polar Pilsen y la otra es la Zulia.

No soy de tomar muchas bebidas alcohólicas, pero cuando hay alguna celebración que implique un brindis, un rato entre amigos, trato de tomar alguna de estas dos cervezas.
En esta ocasión, salí con mi esposo a realizar unas compras de fin de semana y luego de estas compras para nuestra alacena, nos detuvimos a refrescarnos un momento y lo hicimos con dos Polares Pilsen en lata, pues esta tiene un sabor más agradable en esta presentación que en la propia botella; mi esposo me explica que esta presentación es de preparación más añeja y, por lo tanto, tiene mejor sabor, estoy de acuerdo con él, pues he probado las dos presentaciones, la de botella y la de la lata y si hay una diferencia, la de lata es mejor para mi gusto.

There are other types of beers, of different brands and, although I have tried them, I always finish ordering the same when it comes to sharing a while. Apart from the beers themselves in a warm climate like ours, it is a blessing to have a cold beer. Personally, I am one of those who likes, only to drink beer, nothing more, I am not one of those who like to take any kind of alcoholic beverages; when the occasion arises, mine is to have a good beer and everything will be fine.

Those who know me know that I am not excited about a good rum or whiskey, I always go for an ice cold beer, if sharing is involved and as a rare thing, my friends are also lovers of beer, so when there is a celebration, some wedding, birthdays, for example, we all agree that this should not be lacking, it is a common taste, just as my husband and I join this predilection. This afternoon, we refreshed for a moment and then went home, after a well-deserved break from our daily activities. I hope you enjoyed my beer tour, greetings!

Hay otros tipos de cervezas, de diferentes marcas y, a pesar de que las he probado, siempre termino de pedir las mismas cuando se trata de compartir un rato. Aparte de que las cervezas en sí en un clima cálido como el nuestro, es una bendición tomarse una cerveza bien helada. Personalmente, soy de las que le gusta, solamente tomar cerveza, nada más, no soy de las que me gusta tomar cualquier clase de bebidas alcohólicas; cuando se presenta la ocasión, lo mío es tomar una buena cerveza y todo estará bien.

Quienes me conocen saben que no me emociona un buen ron o whisky, siempre me voy por una helada cerveza, si de compartir se trata y como cosa rara, mis amigos también son amantes de la cerveza, así es que cuando hay una celebración, alguna boda, cumpleaños, por ejemplo, todos coincidimos de que esta no debe faltar, es un gusto en común, así como también mi esposo y yo nos unimos a esta predilección. Esta tarde, nos refrescamos por un momento y luego nos fuimos a casa, luego de una merecida pausa de nuestras actividades cotidianas. Espero que les haya gustado mi recorrido cervecero, ¡saludos!
