☀️My Entry for the Shadow Contest/SMASh #267 / May Cross [ENG/ESP] ☀️

This is my Entry for the Shadow Contest

Hi @melinda010100, it is a pleasure for me to post again in this community, pleasure to greet the shadowhunters who week by week hunt amazing shadows.

To get into context on May 3 we celebrate in my country Venezuela the Day of the Cross of May and therefore in the institution where I work we celebrate this activity with the children. The main objective of this beautiful festival is to pay a well-deserved tribute to nature since it is in the month of May that the rainy season begins and therefore also the harvest season.

This wooden cross was given to me by a colleague three years ago, it is large compared to those of my other colleagues. To touch it up since this decoration is from last year I lined it with blue cardboard then I glued yellow ribbons and at the foot of the cross I made a butterfly and glued it with some flowers.I love the shadows on the wall they look very beautiful.

.

The decoration of the center had come off since it was stored and I glued it with hot silicone and ready my Cruz de Mayo was like new since I am a lover of recycling and reusing useful material. I could not pass up this opportunity to hunt these beautiful shadows that were reflected in my kitchen you can see the details of the shadows really is amazing that something so simple and everyday one marvels in this way.

The photos are my own and were taken with my Xiaomi Redmi 7A cell phone

Hi Melinda, you may have noticed that the decoration is very Venezuelan, it is a little different from the usual decorations that are made with crepe paper flowers.

Capturing shadows is an art I didn't know until I visited the Shadowhunters Community some time ago.
