26th of January || National Spouse Day

Hello everyone, how are you doing on this glorious day?

As usual, I’m here to let us know of a wonderful day that would be celebrated today, a day specially set aside to celebrate lovers. Not only married couples but also those in all forms of relationships. It is a day set aside to celebrate love and all the good things it has brought to our lives. It is the day we celebrate National Spouses Day.

Aside from Valentine’s Day, it is the only day couples are allowed to spoil each other and bless themselves with beautiful and romantic gifts.

Its origin is not really known, but we have to assume that someone that was in a romantic relationship came up with the wonderful idea. Because it was only someone that was reaping the benefits of true love that could conceive such an idea.

It’s a day that you can appreciate having them in your lives and let them know just how much they mean to you. It is not basically about giving each other gifts, but it can also be about just being with each other and spending quality time with yourselves. Away from all the usual troubles of married life, the responsibilities, the children… just for two of you.

Things like this tend to help to make the love wax even stronger because it reminds you both why you fell in love in the first place. And it is an opportunity to fall in love all over again. As we all know, especially in today’s world, love can never be overrated, and we need even more of it going around. Because if there was enough love in the world, it would be a more pleasurable place to be in.

And so, on this romantic day, take your spouse out on a romantic date, show them some true love and let them know just how much they matter. Remind them of why you fell in love with them in the first place, and see your love life bloom once more right before your eyes.
