Hive Professionals All The Way!!

The last topic we treated for the Featured Content, has to by far be one of the best that we’ve ever done. For me at least. Getting people to talk about their jobs off-chain and what they do was an eye-opener for me. After blogging for so long and meeting people who are also avid bloggers as well, it’s easy to think that we’re simply just bloggers.

But no, when I went through the posts, I saw that right here in Hive Learners, we have a slew of professions that are just so many to count. We have teachers, doctors, nurses, teachers, pharmacists, real estate agents, teachers, farmers, writers, journalists, graphic designers, engineers… AND TEACHERS!!!!! The professional field is so vast, it’s just freaking awesome!!! That just goes to show the caliber of people we have in this community. That’s so beautiful when you think about it.

And then, considering the thousands of active users on the Hive blockchain as a whole, it’s safe to assume that we’d have even more professions than we already know. I’m certain that if we look hard enough, we’d find surgeons, full-time actors, industry moguls, pilots, priests, and Imams. And maybe an astronaut.

There is literally no profession that you can think of that won’t be found on this blockchain, and this means that if we were a small physical community, we would have been entirely self-sufficient. If we were a country, we wouldn’t have any trouble because we already have major key players in major industries at play.

This is good news, basically because it reenacts the fact that Hive can truly be for everyone. There are people who do this as their main source of livelihood. For them, it’s their full-time job while their physical job is the “side hustle”. It doesn’t matter what you’re doing in real life, it doesn’t matter your discipline or what you know. All that connects us is the blog. You have a story to tell, and we want to hear you tell it in your own voice.

And then, when you go through the active communities that are already in the blockchain, you’ll find that there is a community for almost everything. There can be more, but it’s only a matter of time. For someone like me, Hive is a go-to for anything I could ever want. There are communities for stories and book reviews, there are communities to talk about movies, and there are communities to rant and just tell your stories. This is like my very own chocolate factory. I’ve not even talked about communities that promote DIY content.

I know it’s not like that for everyone, but at the very least, there will be two or three communities that correlate with a number of things you do in real life.

The blockchain is so diverse, and it’s designed in such a way people can easily find those of like minds and cultivate relationships from there. Everyone is on here and as more and more people keep on coming onboard, we’ll have more exposure and even more professionals bringing their wealth of knowledge with them.

This is beautiful, and a reason the blockchain will never die. Because everything it requires to live forever, it has it in droves. There’s the passion, the talented individual, the community experience, the police… everything is working together to make sure we all have a well-oiled engine. One that will run for as long as humanly possible.

So, I’m really happy to be here. I’m really happy to know a lot of you. At least now that I know what many of you do, maybe when I need a particular service, I know who to reach out to. That’s a win-win for everyone.
