Hive Power Up Day - January 1st 2022 + Delegation GIVEAWAY 🤩

Hey everyone,

2021 is over and today is the first day of 2022. And what better way to start the new year than with the Hive Power Up Day! It has become a habit for me to do my powerups only on the HPUD because I love the idea of powering up with all these other awesome Hivians at the same day. Of course you can power up whenever you want and I encourage you to do so but the Hive Power Up Day is always something really special for me and I am always looking forward to it.

What is the idea behind the Hive Power Up Day? Well, you can power up at any time. You don't have to wait until the beginning of the new month to do so. But it's still great to have some HIVE left for the HPUD to join the community with your power up. What makes this day so special, is that a bunch of people show their trust in Hive and the community by powering up. We all could just sell our HIVE and a few might actually do (which is their right and I don't judge them). But powering up is a sign that we believe in the future of this project and by doing so we reduce the circulating supply which is a great way to strengthen the price.

Before I come to this months Power Up and I want to wish all of you a great new year 2022 - I hope all your dreams will come true and that we'll see a new HIVE all-time high. I have a good feeling that this could be a great year for crypto.

Okay, so let's take a look at my power up. This month's power up is quite small again, I only staked 10.604 HIVE. That's better than nothing but it's still only a small improvement of my HP. I have more than 100 HIVE in my savings which I may use for power ups in the future but I haven't used any of those funds because I am not sure whether to use them for powering up or buying Splinterlands packs 😅

I took a look at Hive-Engine and DLUX as well and staked most of the tokens I could find in my wallet. Those are just worth a couple of Dollars but I think it's important to stake them as well to increase my vote value on other Hive front-ends too.

Why should you join the Hive Power Up Day?
Because it shows that you love Hive. Because this community gave you so much and it is time to give back (if you really want to give back you can help someone with his/her power up and get a Power-Up Helper badge from @hivebuzz too). Because it is a strong sign that Hive stands for more than just making a fast profit.
