Dnes už jen prší a elektřina funguje. Takže se můžeme v klidu vypravit na pravidelný nedělní výlet s ATW.

Náš výlet opět začneme v Praze. Na západním okraji města se nachází obora Hvězda, kam nás pozval na procházku @godfish. Při pohledu na jeho soutěžní fotografii se mi okamžitě vybavila v paměti vzpomínka na sci-fi román Den Trifidů. No posuďte sami. Fotografie získala třetí cenu.
We will start our trip again in Prague. On the western edge of the city is the Hvězda nature reserve, where @godfish invited us for a walk. Looking at his competition photo immediately reminded me of the sci-fi novel Day of the Triffids. Well, judge for yourself. The photo won third prize.
Na minulém výletě s ATW jsem vás „varoval“, že se ještě několikrát podíváme na Madeiru :-). A je to tady. Druhou zastávku si uděláme nad hlavním městem tohoto ostrova. Funchal a @phortun-ův pohled z kabiny lanové dráhy, která spojuje dvě městské části.
On the last trip with ATW, I "warned" you that we would look at Madeira several more times :-). And here it is. We will make our second stop over the capital of this island. Funchal and @phortun's view from the cabin of the cable car that connects the two districts.
Jestli jste „uvařeni“ z evropského horka, určitě vás osvěží naše další zastávka. @new.things nás totiž pozval na lyže. Ano i v Austrálii se dá lyžovat. Perisher ski resort ve Sněžných horách (Nový Jižní Wales) nabízí dostatek sněhu na pořádné ochlazení. Fotografie získala speciální cenu a právo na účast v doplňkové soutěži o nejlepší fotografii měsíce srpna.
If you are "boiled" from the European heat, our next stop will definitely refresh you. @new.things invited us to go skiing. Yes, you can ski in Australia too. The Perisher ski resort in the Snowy Mountains (New South Wales) offers enough snow to cool down properly. The photo received a special prize and the right to participate in the supplementary competition for the best photo of the month of August.
Z hor se přesuneme na Sunshine Coast (Queensland). Pohled na předlouhou pláž Coolum nám nabídl @vcclothing. Ideální místo pro aktivity spojené s využitím větru :-). Fotografie získala první cenu.
We will move from the mountains to the Sunshine Coast (Queensland). The view of the long Coolum beach was offered to us by @vcclothing. An ideal place for activities related to the use of wind :-). The photo won first prize.
Poslední zastávku si uděláme na jižní Moravě. @hairyfairy nás pozval do města Mikulov, které leží u Pálavských vrchů. Kolem nejsou jen kopce ale také mnoho vinohradů, kde se pěstuje velmi chutné víno. Fotografie získala druhou cenu.
We will make our last stop in South Moravia. @hairyfairy invited us to the town of Mikulov, which is located near the Palava hills. There are not only hills around, but also many vineyards where very tasty wine is grown. The photo won second prize.
Sci-fi, ostrov, windsurfing, lyžování a nakonec vinařská oblast. Takový mix zastávek na jednom výletu se dá zažít jen u nás, na výletě s ATW. Doufám, že jste se dobře bavili.
