Máme před sebou opět dlouhý výlet. Musíme stihnout „obletět“ svět a zastavit se na jedenácti místech naší planety. Nejvíce času nám zabere návštěva Kuby.
We have another long trip ahead of us. We have to "go around" the world and stop at eleven places on our planet. Our visit to Cuba will take the most time.
Dřív, než se vypravíme na nedělní výlet s ATW, mám dvě pravidelné poznámky:

Měl jsem menší obavy, že nebudeme mít tradiční začátek výletu v Praze, ale tyto obavy byly plané.
Zastavíme se u potoka Botič, kam nás pozval @godfish. Recesisté tomu občas říkají řeka a pokouší se o splavení potoka na kuriózních plavidlech. Fotografie získala druhou cenu.

I was a little worried that we wouldn't have the traditional beginning of the trip in Prague, but these fears were unfounded.

Druhou zastávku si uděláme v Novohradských horách. @birdwatcher nás pozval k rybníku Huťský nedaleko státní hranice s Rakouskem. Fotografie získala první cenu.

Před další zastávkou se musím omluvit @cezary-io. „Řádil“ u mne nějaký šotek a já zapomněl jeho fotografii předložit porotě k hodnocení. Duha na Hounslow (Londýn) by určitě získala pěkné umístění. Tak tedy, jako omluvu z mé strany, přiděluji fotografii cenu útěchy.
I have to apologize to @cezary-io before the next stop. He was "ordering" some jerk at my place and I forgot to present his photo to the jury for evaluation. The rainbow at Hounslow (London) would certainly get a nice placement. So, as an apology on my part, I'm awarding the photo a consolation prize.
Ze studené Evropy se přesuneme na několik zastávek na Kubu.

We will move from cold Europe to several stops in Cuba.

Jak naplnit bazén vodou v dosahu moře? Jednoduše. Stačí počkat, až budou velké vlny :-). Své o tom ví @juliom, který nám ukázal místo Miramar v Havaně. Fotografie získala cenu za účast na soutěži.

Nedaleko Havany v Guanabacoa je farma Vista Hermosa. Pozvala nás sem @nanixxx. Netradiční pojetí zapůsobilo na porotu a fotografie získal další druhou cenu.

Oblast Artemisa a dům na jezeře u Las Terrazas. To je místo, kam nás pozvala @yanerkidiaz. Fotografie získala třetí cenu.

Přesuneme se do oblasti Pinar del Rio.

Poslední zastávku si uděláme v Asii. Konkrétně na Filipinách. Pozvala nás sem @naniplayergamer. Vypravila se s matkou na oslavy na pláži Clean Beach Resort u Urbiztondo. Podařilo se ji zachytit opravdu úchvatný západ slunce. Fotografie získala speciální cenu s právem účasti na doplňkové soutěži o nejlepší fotografii měsíce listopadu.
We will make our last stop in Asia. Specifically in the Philippines. We were invited here by @naniplayergamer. She went with her mother to the celebrations at the Clean Beach Resort near Urbiztondo. She managed to capture a truly breathtaking sunset. The photo received a special prize with the right to participate in the additional competition for the best photo of the month of November.

Takový úspěch jsem tedy v téhle konkurenci nečekal. Díky :))
Jak jsem minule psal Bucíkovi - ta kubánská parta, která se nedávno začala masově účastnit ATW, pochází z oblasti údolí Vinales, což je mimořádná krásná a fotogenická část Kuby, takže kdyby si tamní soutěžící dali na svých fotkách trošku víc záležet (eventuálně si pořídili o něco lepší mobily), tak by klidně mohli pravidelně obsazovat (všechny) přední příčky. Vinales je opravdu nádherný. Svou úvodní fotku, co mám tady na profilu, jsem pořídil právě tam :)
No, tam bude zakopaný pes právě v těch o něco lepších mobilech, řekl bych :) Asi si na ně budou nejprve muset vypsat.
To ano, ale i v jejich fotografických schopnostech jsou určité rezervy ;) To je ale koneckonců pro ostatní soutěžící dobře. Nikoho by nebavilo účastnit se soutěže, kde je o prvních místech dopředu rozhodnuto. Jednou se mi stalo, že jsem Bucíkovi obsadil 3 ze 4 speciálních cen v jednom měsíci (tuším, že s fotkami ze Zanzibaru) a bylo mi to pak lehce trapné...

Mnoho fotografií ještě neznamená velkou konkurenci.
Ostatně phortun to vystihl. Zajímavá místa, ale málo zajímavé fotky.
To jistě ne. Ale moje fotky taky nebývají po technické stránce žádná velká hitparáda. Jen mám lepší mobil než naši kubánští kolegové, takže výsledek působí na první pohled o něco lépe.
Zatím to vypadá, že jsou spokojeni i s malou odměnou za účast. Nevím, za kolik jejich pessos(?) ta odměna je, ale mám pocit, že budou za chvíli chtít více a budou se hodně snažit.
Pesos. Divil by se, za kolik reálně vyžijí. Co jsem se tak bavil, kdo si za měsíc vydělá přes 100 dolarů (v práci, ne tady), je malý boháč. To je něco kolem 2 300 Kč.
Bývaly doby, kdy to byla normální výplata i u nás.
Nezbývá než jim držet palce aby si polepšili.
To sice ano, ale cenová hladina tehdy a dnes se srovnávat nedá ;)
No jo. "Vstupy" nám silně podražily.
