Na nedělní videoprocházce se mi podařilo nasnímat videoklipy v celkové délce skoro hodinu. I po vyřazení některých klipů a po sestříhání mi zbyl materiál na půlhodinový videoklip.

V roce 1901 vznikl a začal se realizovat projekt na stavbu dvou vodních elektráren. Projekt větší elektrárny, kterou měla napájet voda z Vltavy, nebyl nikdy dokončen. První přerušení zavinila první světová válka a po válce nebyly na projekt peníze. Proto nedošlo ke konečné realizaci.
Z projektu zůstal jen nedokončený, asi padesáti metrový tunel a dnes sotva viditelné pozůstatky nedostavěné výpusti.

The project of a larger power plant, which was supposed to be fed by water from the Vltava, was never completed. The first interruption was caused by the First World War, and after the war there was no money for the project. Therefore, there was no final implementation.
All that remained of the project was an unfinished tunnel, about fifty meters long, and today the barely visible remains of the undelivered outlet.

Druhý projekt, elektrárna na Křemžském potoce, však byl realizován celý. Na potoce byla postavena malá hráz, vybudován náhon na elektrárnu a proražen tunel ve skále (asi 20 metrů) do údolí Vltavy. Zde byla postavena vlastní elektrárna, která fungovala asi do roku 1949. V roce 1995 byl náhon zasypán, položeno potrubí na vedení vody a vstup a výstup tunelu byl z bezpečnostních důvodů zazděn. Převýšení asi deset metrů dává vodě dostatečnou sílu aby roztočila dvě turbíny v nové elektrárně.

Na Křemžském potoce je ještě jedna zachovalá památka. Je to bývalý hamr, kde se vyrábělo nářadí z železa vyrobeného Adolfovskou hutí v Holubově.
Dnes je budova hamru přeměněná na penzion a restauraci. Vlastní pivo tam sice nevaří ale je to výborné místo pro občerstvení po putování kolem krás v okolí Třísova :-).

There is one more well-preserved monument on the Křemžský stream. It is a former hammer mill where tools were made from iron produced by the Adolfovská smelter in Holubov.
Today, the hamru building has been converted into a guesthouse and restaurant. They don't brew their own beer there, but it's an excellent place for refreshments after wandering around the beauty around Třísov :-).

It is a pity to find the remains of projects, as in the first one, that were started so ambitiously and then were forgotten.
The first part of the video is a bit scary, going into the narrow tunnel, but I think it's a good idea to show the route.
I found the mill very cute and I love the idea that you can go and enjoy some refreshments in a building where they used to make handicrafts.

Unfortunately, money is the "driver" of the world. When they aren't, a lot of projects don't get done. And it's not just a case of the past. It's pretty much the same today.
