That strelitzia with the sunbird! Wow ..... oh, hang on .... the reflection. It's quite spectacular. Took me a while to figure out which way was up. First glance I see the starlit night

Thank you and your Malachite photos is just as great. I was just surprised to see this one so late in the season. So that confirms it, as you are the third person that also see it as some form of the galaxy.

Indeed! At first I thought I read wrong - because you did explain - then I had to figure out how there could be a sunlit reflection in the milky way. Either way, that was a unique and lovely photo
Yep, it was indeed the sun the sun that gave the story away. Next time, I will wait until the sun is behind the cloud. But then again, maybe not, as the color will be missing.
Any case, I know how to get those kinds of shots now and will try to get some more for a full post.
