Fungi Friday: Fungi jail? There is no such place or is there?
Law and order must be preserved at all costs!
I visited my friend Francine who was locked up in fungi jail because they forgot to post something in #FungiFriday a few too many times 😀
I was trying to be a good friend and would send some messages before all this happened. HEY YOU! I know you have a billion interesting photos laying around or fertile grounds to explore. Time to get on it already, I'm waiting…
Hunting and photographing fungi is not an easy task. They're hiding everywhere so if you see us hunters with their cameras walking around we mean no harm. We simply want a photo of you interesting beings. You can tell us what your best side is and some of us even have makeup bags that we carry. Mine usually consists of a stick to brush off leaves and debris. I'll also give you a sip from my water bottle too.
Francine the fungi was in the jail yard when I visited. Stuck to a tree looking a little down. Her cap was a little upturned catching whatever was falling down that day. I see a few leaves and dirt in there.
I even see Francine reaching through the fence looking for a little contact. I understand, this fungi jail can play a number on your emotions. Fear not, I am here to cheer you up. We talked for about an hour about all sorts of things and I was sure to keep the conversation light and upbeat.
I took two more photos and decided to post them anyways. These shots are a little too much on a low angle and might make some people blush. Show off those gills!
I slipped my friend a message on how I will get them out of here. I had to made it a secret as I know certain interested parties might be reading this posting of mine.

Here in the states about 100 years ago when I went to get my ham radio license, we had to be able to copy 5 words a minute of morse code to get the basic or "novice" license. As you moved up the ranks in licenses the requirement for faster speeds moved up as well. Some guys in the club could hold a verbal convo while still being able to copy fast... Crazy
Morse code is always something I want to learn. I like the idea of being able to communicate non-verbally. There was something I was reading about POW's using this when forced to make staged confession videos.
The dashes and dots representing letters appear random to me. I really need to read more about the specifics 🙂
