Greetings Hive community NFTGame Latino, Splinterlands and Hivers! Welcome to my post dedicated to the Social media challenge and the topic of these lines is nothing more than recounting the rewards format in Splinterlands and how it has varied to the one we currently have, this also includes our achievements from last month, the balance of rewards in what were our last loot chests, my first impressions of the new reward system and finally sharing the status of our quarterly project: The Agor Longtail Project. Sean bienvenidos a mi post dedicado al Social media challenge y el tópico de estas líneas no es más que hacer un recuento del formato de recompensas en Splinterlands y como ha variado hasta el que tenemos actualmente, esto incluye también nuestros logros del mes pasado, el balance de recompensas en lo que fueron nuestros últimos cofres de botín, mis primeras impresiones del nuevo sistema de recompensas y finalmente compartirles el estado de nuestro proyecto trimestral: El Proyecto Agor Longtail. The evolution of the rewards system in Splinterlands/El devenir del sistema de recompensas en Splinterlands
The initial reward system in Splinterlands until 3 years ago was based on completing 5 battles with a particular splinter or a specific ability, upon completing it depending on the league you were in you were rewarded with a certain amount of chests, at that time I was taking my first steps in the project so I only got one chest for each daily Quest.
El sistema inicial de recompensas en Splinterlands hasta hace 3 años se basaba en completar 5 batallas con un splinter particular o una habilidad específica, al completarlo dependiendo de la liga que estuvieras eras recompensado con cierta cantidad de cofres, para aquel momento estaba dando mis primero pasos en el proyecto así que solo obtenía un cofre por cada Quest diaria.
It was on May 14, 2022 that the first major change in the rewards system was implemented in which the rewards were no longer limited to a certain number of chests per league but by the accumulation of Rewards Points (RP), It kept the Daily Quest but expanded it to a focus system that included splinters and a wide variety of abilities. The chests for each league would have a particular quality: bronze, silver, gold, diamond and champion chests, I was only able to obtain diamond chests in the entire time that this stage lasted.
Fue el 14 de mayo de mayo del 2022 que se implementó el primer gran cambio en el sistema de recompensas en el que las recompensas ya no se limitaban a una cantidad determinada de cofres por liga sino por la acumulación de Rewards Points (RP), se mantuvo la Quest Diaria pero ampliándolo a un sistema de focus que incluía splinters y una gran variedad de habilidades. Los cofres por cada liga tendrían una calidad particular: cofres de bronce, plata, oro, diamante y campeón, yo solamente pude lograr obtener cofres de diamante en todo el tiempo que duró esta etapa.
After 14 months since this change was made, the last modification was added to the rewards system, in this case Sps & Reward Points in which the amount obtained for each victory would be dictated by the amount of Sps that we had staked. This new modification includes the possibility of renting Sps under a scheme similar to that of renting cards, being able to pay with Decs or Credits.
Luego de 14 meses desde que se realizó este cambio se añadió la última modificación al sistema de recompensas, en este caso de Sps & Reward Points en los cuales la cantidad obtenida por cada victoria estaría dictada por la cantidad de Sps que tuviéramos estaqueados. Esta nueva modificación incluye la posibilidad de alquilar Sps bajo un esquema similar al de alquiler de cartas pudiendo pagar con Decs o Créditos.
Latest and current ranked reward system/Última y actual sistema de recompensas clasificatorias.
Finally, on April 26, a series of changes to the qualifying reward system were announced that were applied on April 2. We briefly list the changes made here:
Finalmente el 26 de abril fue anunciado una serie de cambios en el sistema de recompensas clasificatorias que fueron aplicadas este 2 de abril enumerando los cambios realizados brevemente los tenemos aquí:
- Removal of loot chests.
- Inclusion of a new token: Glint for each victory.
- This token will allow us to directly purchase a series of items in the store provided by Splinterlands.
- The soulbound cards obtained so far will give us Glint token when burned.
- Eliminación de los cofres de botín.
- Inclusión de un nuevo token: Glint por cada victoria.
- Este token nos permitirá comprar directamente una serie de artículos en la tienda dispuesta por Splinterlands.
- Las cartas soulbound hasta ahora obtenidas nos otorgarán token Glint al quemarlas.
As final details, the end of the season will involve a pot of Glint tokens that we will earn depending on how far we have advanced in the modern/wild qualifying league and finally the gladius cards that we buy with merits when burned will give us more merits instead of the Dec token.
Como últimos detalles el cierre de temporada involucrará un pote de tokens Glint que ganaremos dependiendo de cuán lejos hayamos avanzado en la liga clasificatoria modern/wild y por último las cartas gladius que compramos con méritos al ser quemadas nos otorgarán más méritos en lugar del token Dec.
It is in this context that we reach our last season in which we will be able to open loot chests, we managed to maintain our positions in the diamond league and obtain 70 diamond chests, their content was as follows:

Balance EoS
To be our first and last opportunity to open diamond chests we obtained a large volume of cards and among them 2 legendary cards, however one stands out above all: Sorriel the Bale, in this entire year and a half that I began to obtain soulbound cards from The chests had never had the legendary fire, neither of them had to arrive this last day to finally do justice.
Para ser nuestra primera y ultima oportunidad de abrir cofres de diamante obtuvimos gran volumen de cartas y entre ellas 2 cartas legendarias, sin embargo una destaca por encima de todas: Sorriel the Bale, en todo este año y medio que comencé a obtener cartas soulbound de los cofres nunca había tenido la legendaria de fuego, ninguna de las 2 tuvo que llegar este último día para finalmente hacer justicia.
Con esta carta ya tengo casi todas mis cartas comunes soulbound en nivel 8, es decir a tope de la liga dorada! Solo me faltan 7 copias de Gobson bomber para tenerla a nivel 8 y poder usarla con todo su potencial.
With this card I already have almost all my common soulbound cards at level 8, that is, at the top of the golden league! I only need 7 copies of Gobson bomber to have it at level 8 and be able to use it to its full potential.
Pyrewatch Devil
It is the next fire card that we level up, now at 6 this card gets an extra point of speed, a piece of great importance in those low mana battles.

Riverboat Captain
The next rare card is of the water class: Riverboat Captain is the equivalent of Ruler of the Seas with the Blast ability but less fast, its Affliction ability stands out, which gives it a chance to prevent a monster from healing.
La siguiente carta rara es de la clase agua: Riverboat Captain es el equivalente al Ruler of the Seas con la habilidad Blast pero menos rápida destaca su habilidad Affliction que le da la probabilidad de evitar que un monstruo se cure.
Coastal Sentry
Finally we take this common card to level 9, one of the ones I use the most in the water class and it is possibly the splinter that rises first to the diamond league.
Finalmente llevamos esta carta común a nivel 9 una de las que más utilizo de la clase agua y que posiblemente sea el splinter que suba de primero a la liga de diamante.
As a last interesting aspect, we did not obtain any Sps from the loot chests, so in addition to the cards we obtained just over 2600 merits. As always the amount of potions was huge but with the current circumstance of the elimination of the chests, the only way to obtain potions from now on will be by buying them with Glints so these potions will be very useful to us from now on.
Como último aspecto interesante no obtuvimos ningún Sps de los cofres de botín así que además de las cartas obtuvimos poco mas de 2600 méritos. Como siempre la cantidad de pociones fue grosera pero con la actual circunstancia de la eliminación de los cofres, la única forma de obtener pociones de ahora en adelante será comprándolas con Glints así que estas pociones nos serán de gran utilidad de aquí en adelante.

We also had to claim the loot chests that we farmed that same day, April 2 in the morning, I managed to get a total of 8 loot chests with the Buffs focus using mainly skills like Inspire and Swiftness. The content of our latest Daily Quest chests was as follows:
También tuvimos que reclamar los cofres de botín que farmeamos ese mismo día 2 de abril en la mañana, yo logre conseguir un total de 8 cofres de botín con el focus Buffs utilizando principalmente habilidades como Inspire y Swiftness. El contenido de nuestros últimos cofres de Quest diaria fue el siguiente:

Our most notable card on this occasion was a golden Franz R. of which we added a total of just 6 copies after more than 1 year collecting chests, ironically we obtained even more potions, this will be very useful for this new rewards format so no. I consider it a theft.
Nuestra carta más destacada en esta ocasión fue un Franz R. dorado del que sumamos un total de apenas 6 copias después de más de 1 año reuniendo cofres, irónicamente obtuvimos todavía más pociones esto nos será de gran utilidad para este nuevo formato de recompensas así que no lo considero un robo.
Progress of our 1st quarterly goal: The Agor longtail project/Progreso de nuestra 1era meta trimestral: El proyecto Agor longtail.
As a last detail of these lines I want to share with you my progress in the project I set out to buy a monthly copy of the legendary card Rift Watcher Agor longtail. I decided to take this letter to level 3 since November when I started this goal and we only need 1 copy.
Como último detalle de estas líneas quiero compartirles mi progreso en el proyecto que me propuse de comprar una copia mensual de la carta legendaria Rift Watcher Agor longtail. Esta carta me la propuse llevar a nivel 3 desde noviembre que comencé esta meta y ya solo nos falta 1 copia.
This card has been gradually dropping in price, when I bought it last year it was very close to $20 and seeing it at $14.85 is truly incredible. We will evaluate if it continues to drop in price next May.
Esta carta ha ido gradualmente bajando de precio, cuando la compre el año pasado estaba muy cercano a los 20$ y verlo en los 14,85$ es verdaderamente increible, ya evaluaremos si continua bajando de precio para el próximo més de mayo.
And well, friends, this is all I wanted to share with you, a retrospective of how the play2earn scheme began in the project, its evolution over time and where we are now. I did not want to go into greater detail about the item store that we can buy with the Glints since apparently it will be subject to changes in the coming days so I will go into detail about this part next week.
What I can briefly conclude is that this seems to be a first step in the right direction because the high variability of the chests, where most of the time you got huge amounts of potions and just a handful of common cards mostly made the gaming experience will be greatly diminished. Now we have the possibility to directly choose where we want to invest our reward tokens, I see it as a way to appreciate and respect the time and dedication we invest in this project. Let's hope that these changes lead this great project to a successful conclusion. Best regards.
Y bien amigos esto es todo lo que quería compartirles, una retrospectiva de como inició el esquema play2earn en el preyecto, su evolución con el tiempo y donde estamos ahora. No quise entrar en mayor detalle sobre la tienda de objetos que podremos comprar con los Glints ya que al parecer estará sujeto a cambios los próximos días así que entraré en detalle es esta parte la próxima semana.
Lo que si puedo concluir brevemente es que esta perece ser un primer paso en la dirección correcta porque la elevada variabilidad de los cofres, donde la mayoría de las veces obtenías cantidades ingentes de pociones y apenas un puñado de cartas comunes en su mayoría hacia que la experiencia de juego mermara bastante. Ahora tenemos la posibilidad de escoger directamente en que queremos invertir nuestros tokens de recompensa, lo veo como una manera de apreciar y respetar el tiempo y la dedicación que le invertimos a este proyecto. Esperemos que estos cambios conduzcan a buen puerto este gran proyecto. Saludos.
