2.5oz Silver Machine Gun Scroogie

If you've never heard of Scrooge McDuck, I'd look him up before you read this post. Then, you'll be able to fully appreciate this piece. For those of you who know who he is, keep reading.

Obverse

When I saw this piece, I had to have it! How can you not love Scrooge McDuck, in a fancy coat, holding a stack of cash and wielding an AR-15 with a grenade launcher? This is one rich guy you don't want to mess with! The level of detail on this is crazy, and the skillful use of antiquing adds so much depth to it!

Reverse

Here we have the mint, Tormint, stamped into the back. Along with it is the silver weight of 2.5 Troy ounces, the purity and the number 86. This is a limited run set of 250, so I got mine a little earlier than others. 😁

If you've never heard of Tormint, I'd check them out. They have many other unique pieces like this. They are good at what they do!

I paid about $130 for this piece. It's one of those pieces that are just awesome to look at, so I couldn't say no to it. I have no intention of selling this, and I'll pass it down to my kids one day. 😁

Very nice! Totally reminds me of the old Ducktales Nintendo game back in the day. The cartoon was more about his nephews I think. He was the star of the game though.

Oh yeah, I will have to check the Way Back Machine on Archive.org. I think they have a ton of old DOS games on there.
