Bayek Takes Down the Bandit Captain

After saving the farmers from the hippos and delivering the bodies to the designated temple for the rituals, Bayek goes to meet Meketre. Meketre is one of the farmers who had been affected by the hippo attacks. Bayek learns a crucial piece of information from him.
Meketri informs Bayak that the hippos did not attack the village or the crop fields on their own. A group of bandits had frightened and agitated them, causing them to flee towards the village and the fields in panic. Seizing the opportunity created by the hippo attacks, those bandits have now occupied the village and begun looting.
When Bayek arrived at the village, the fighting had already begun. Bandits were attacking and killing the villagers. Seeing this, Bayek did not hesitate for a moment. Without even dismounting from his horse, he launched an attack on the bandits.
The situation changed completely upon Bayak's arrival in the village. Until then, the bandits had been attacking the villagers, but seeing Bayak fight gave the villagers courage. They, too, began to fight against the bandits. Faced with the combined assault of Bayak and the villagers, the bandits could not hold their ground for long. They all began to flee.
Bayek did not let the bandit captain escape. He caught him and killed him with his own hands. Once the captain was dead, the remaining bandits fled the village.
After it was all over, Meketre was overjoyed and raised his hands in celebration. Seeing the scene really made me smile. Bayek then told him that he had fought well and possessed the qualities of a fine warrior, and he also entrusted him with the responsibility of looking after the villagers.
Bayek set out for his next mission. His destination this time was the city of Alexandria. To save time, Bayek took a shortcut through the forest, but after traveling some distance, he encountered a river. To continue along this path, he first had to cross the river.
Fortunately, there was a boat moored nearby. So, Bayek boarded the boat, crossed the river, and proceeded toward his next destination.
