A letter to my humble self in 5 years time

Life is full of ups and downs but they are what makes life interesting, the journey to the top is never easy but the good about it is that you gain experience, you learn more about life, you meet people that will hurt you so are those that will treat you right, you have days you smile throughout and days you just want to be alone and days you just want to quit everything but all this will become memories of the past and won't matter that much tomorrow..

Tomorrow never ends, tomorrow is the future we will never see but we would always hope for it and in the belief of tomorrow, we keep running the race of life, achieving great feat, winning trophies, it just goes on like that till we get to our final destination....

The hive learner initiatives really made me ponder on where i would be in the next five years, the kind of life i would be living, the people i will be relating with and also my status... A lot can happen within a year talkless of 5 years...

Nevertheless it is our present plan that determines our future, i won't stop grinding as i want to be more happy in 5 years time but i am curious about one thing.....

Dear burl

I want to believe you are still being your lovely, carefree and funny self or did marriage humble you????? Now i am really curious to know who the lucky lady may be, is she someone you used to know or someone i am yet to meet? uhm did i achieve the feat of having a girl as my first child and whose eyes does she have? her mum preferably though

Life is going well at the moment and my target is to secure a money bag that will make me never to worry about money again in my life time, maybe i achieved it already and you are enjoying the simple life surrounded with loved ones which i have always wished for..

I can't wait to see that year but for the time being, i will grind harder to create a happy home for you and i promise to be good, won't create any problem for you now lol!

Tomorrow is a mystery but we can predict how it will be with our effort of today, though it is not just by hardwork, if grace find us, our story can change within one month and hence grace is what we should pray for but i believe my tomorrow will be better!

An interesting idea and topic, I might write one of these letters to myself in 5 years tomorrow. I wish you all the best for achieving those things that you mention in your letter to yourself, they sound like they are things you're longing for maybe?

Ahhhh, but this is the only part in the blog where I want to respond to say 'don't take those tomorrows for granted.' In your profile picture burlarj you look reasonably young, when you hit middle age after 40 or 50 you realise those tomorrows will start to become scarce soon, and then one day... the great adventure beyond all tomorrows.

Ha ha, but I'm getting well ahead of myself, there is still tomorrow to look forward too ;-)

Ah! This letter is so short😂 I kept scrolling and refreshing the page thinking that some parts are missing.

This is a really concise letter though. From it I assume you believe you must have met and married the love of your life and equally secured the money bag... I pray your wishes come through.

I honestly actually feel like a parrot because my own letter is 800+ words long! 😂 Well, I am very expressive so I console myself
