A re union that happened in my absence
School life is the best! i love my secondary school days with my 2 other best friends! Even though i had more friends but those 2 were my closest and anywhere you see me, just know the other two are not far behind and wherever you see any of them, be aware that i am close by too..
There is a saying that only two best friends can work and three is a crowd, it doesn't work in our own case, burl, banky and vic friendship is a great one, it worked because we have certain things in common, we were studious as we always brainstorm and am not trying to sweet talk here but the three of us fall in the top 6 most brilliant out of the 89 student in the class, we were playful and we love to play games too! yea we do sneak out of the school premises during break time sometimes to play ps 2 but that doesn''t make us a bad student, it is just part of guys hormone getting to us lol...
Life is not balanced, when i was still in school i always wish to graduate out of secondary school as fast as possible but one week after i graduated, i just wish things can go back to the way it was, back to school with my friends! but life goes on and no looking back....
Since we all graduated, i have never had a re union with my classmate and that is because i left the town immediately and only visit like once or twice in a year to visit my parent but the moment they pack to their new house in another state in year 2016, i never went there again but i am hoping to go soon either this year or next year to check on the old house and am sure i am definitely going to see some of my old time friends and classmate.....
I didn't attend any re union but my classmate of year 2011 actually hosted it and i have seen their pictures on facebook twice about the re union , i felt emotional looking at the big grown men and women, we used to be teenagers some years ago!
There was this girl called kenny, she was my crush in secondary school and also my closest female friend, she attended the re union and we are friends on facebook, she is now a mother of two and doing great! some of the guys are now married and some already have kids, it is just beautiful especially the part when i know we all used to be small lol....
During the Re union they sew the school uniform and put it on just to remember the good old days, it must me memorable for them as they witness it live because even i that saw the pictures felt the past memories we had together flooding me....
To be honest, i want us to go back to the teenage days as i felt the pictures of the biggies am seeing now are strangers since we lost connection years ago, i love us when we were small, the face, the attitude and just everything!
I saw banky latest picture on facebook last year and i compared it to the one he took in 2009 when we first get to know each other, it almost moved me to tears as he is now a full grown man and that made me realize we are getting older everyday as the time ticks!
Hopefully someday i will meet my two best friends again and some of our other class mates, but it is not anytime soon because we are all scattered and some are not even in the country anymore...

Awwn, I so much love re unions and reading yours is making me feel emotional too especially that gif, hehehe but just like you I don't get the opportunity to go for it because I've lost one of my friends last year and the other one, she is also busy. For my other classmates, I don't really want to mingle too much with them because it's obvious that their lifestyle and my are complete opposite, coupled with the fact that I'm not the going out person.
And yes that's why I would love the reunion only if we go back to the age when we knew ourselves but that is so impossible now. I really do hope you get to reunite with your friends soon.

High school days enh... Very interesting and nice. We didn't worry about anything about life. Just to play, have fun and get good grades, disturb teachers, and try crazy things.
Sadly, I've not set my eyes on some of my old classmates since the day we graduated. I've never even called someone to check up on them.
Reunions are always interesting and nice. Luckily for me, I attended the first-ever reunion of my set.

Truly, It's quite painful being absent from the re union and it's always emotional, it can be any kind of re union. Because you spent most of your teenage time making fun with them and doing study kind of stuff.
Yes, it's true that while studying we made a couple of friends who are truly close to our hearts. Among them, a few are the closest and I found those characters in your writing. Getting an opportunity to meet up with them and you missed the opportunity. Well, were you not acquainted with the date?
And the last thing that was quite noticeable to me with is your female friend, I meant the best friend during the time at your school. While skimming those lines I felt too unpleasant, although this kinda scene is pretty common in recent times. I hardly find someone who made their friendship into another relationship, whatever who made something like this, those guys are truly lucky I would say.
By the way, hope you get an another opportunity to meet with them
