A vice that needs to be removed for the world to be a better place
We are now in a Civilized world, we get to enjoy technologies that make life easier for us which can't be compared to the time of our forefathers when they had to till the soil in the sun, set traps to catch fish and other hard labor, just to what? just for the main purpose of feeding themselves and their family.
They had no big dreams like we do now, I doubt many people want to work on the farm anymore, most people are now used to remote jobs that give them freedom and allow them to work in the comfort of their homes.
Life is so good now but some vices have taken over the world which pollute the atmosphere and cause blemish in the beauty of life.
Greed: Poor people blame the rich ones for their insatiable desires to have everything for themselves but the truth is we are the same, the positions and status that made the rich ones misbehave, if it were to be one of the poor in that same position, he would do the same because greed is in every human... Our wants are insatiable so we are never satisfied with what we have and always looking for ways to have more.
A good example is our government and the people, we blame the government for the bad economy because they embezzle the money meant for the development of the country but then the citizens are also making matters worse by inflating the price of goods because of the price they put on their goods which is far higher than the price they bought it.
If I have the power to make the world a better place, I will take greed away from the heart of humans, it is the cause of most of the problems we face.
Due to greed, we don't even know the real price of certain goods and services again, the buyer is always doubting the seller and sometimes has to ask in other places before eventually going for the cheapest price.
Friends kill one another when they do business together also as a result of one person being greedy to take all the money for himself.
A lot of killings and evil are being perpetrated all because of the Greed in humans, once that is terminated the world will be a better place.

I agree with you that life has become so much easier with technology. I mean, can you imagine having to till the soil in the sun all day just to get a meal? No, thank you! But you know what they say, with great power comes great responsibility. And unfortunately, some people just can't handle that responsibility and let greed take over.

Which is a very bad habit but exist in everyone's mind but the level of maybe different. Also believe that if the greediness of human can be removed them we can expect a better, beautiful and peaceful world.

I think greed is even more present now compared to the old times, there are so many desires we humans want to fulfill and some will stop at nothing to get what they want. I agree that eliminating greed will take away a good chunk of our problems as a civilization.

The level at which greed has taken over the world is something else and if there was a way to do away with, it would be better. You got good intentions towards the world and sometimes I wish if there was a way you can at least become president even if it's for one day. I swear there will be peace everywhere.
